Do you think android tv boxes are still interesting in 2024? I feel like smart TVs are enough for multimedia purposes now. For gaming I prefer single board computer, I know sbc is not for everyone but it is more interesting in terms of performance and choice of operating system.

But I think it's a good idea to offer an Android TV alternative with similar specs for those who want that entertainment streaming box feel.

For this price just buy a chromebook. The processer will blow these android boxes away. Just doublecheck the gpu to make sure it is adequate

if they really cared about making better android boxes the storage would support more then a super tiny 32 gig micro sd card.
As good as the specs are, i don't like any android box that does not give me a TV feel.
