In this vlog we explore the two tiny villages of Spiti- Dhankar and Mud.
Dhankar was the ancient capital of Spiti and the monastery is located on a fort overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers - one of the world's most spectacular settings for a gompa.
Whereas Mud is the base point of many treks to the Pin-Parvati valley. A quint village located on the bank of Pin river.
