I use that myself but adding a quarter note plus triplets, then triplets and a quarter, then combines of the previous, making 7 different rhythms (including the original eighth notes). Kudos!

Yeah... guitar player here. Maybe it's not the same on sax, but picking two notes fast it's not the same as picking four notes fast, let alone 32 or 64 in a row. it's a bit like saying "if I can lift 40 pounds once then I can lift 40 pounds for 30 seconds or for a minute." it doesn't work like that: playing fast is most definitely a case of "the total is more than the sum of its parts." There's stamina to be considered which affects the consistency of the articulation for long(er) stretches of time.
This video reminded me of an old musician joke: "today we learned 16th notes! do you want to hear one?"

Important goal: learn to do that on the spot. Then you will be able to play anything you want when a phrase come to your mind. Bad news: this is extremly difficult. Like, really, really mad.

What articulation are you doing for each of these four steps? I.e. which notes do you tongue? Thanks for the video!

have you ever considered making your PDF's into actual books? through out 20 years I still have all my original books from day 1, this would make a lot more sense paying the prices for them and yet the availability would be significantly better if advertised on platforms such as Amazon. Thus people would more likely pay more for an actual book, rather than a digital file. Just a kind suggestion as I highly appreciate your work.
