- BANGKOK, THAILAND - Terminal 21 has a surprisingly good Thai street food court (Pier 21), but is it the best shopping mall street food court in Bangkok? I visit ICONSIAM, MBK Center and Terminal 21 to see which Bangkok shopping mall has the best street food in Bangkok 2024. Shopping malls in Bangkok are a great way to introduce yourself to Thai street food because there are English translations, it is cleans air-conditioned and you have multiple options all under one roof. Do expect to pay a little more for this convenience though. Terminal 21 has some of the cheapest food in all of Bangkok's shopping malls, but that doesn't mean the quality is low. Join me as I eat beef massaman curry and mango sticky rice.

Just back from Bangkok.
Try MBK n Icon Siam food.
Next trip will definitely try Terminal 21 food.

I like all of the three Food Courts, but my favourite is the one in Central Pinklao. Try the Somtam , Fried Chicken with Cashews and the Khanom Krok ( Rice and Coconut sweet )

Terminal 21 seems to be the best out of the three for me. However I like Siam Paragon the most and hope you will film there too 😉. Your "R" pronunciation on Roti is better than many Thais.
Oh really? I think it has the best single dish but I prefer IconSiam. One day I will film in Paragon, when I am back in BKK. Hahaha - I will keep rolling those Rs don't worry.

Disappointed with the Khao kha moo though...too sweet
Hmm yeah that is a shame. Problem is, you never know until you try it
There is vinegar which have to eat with it because sauce of Khao kha Moo is sweet. Thai eat Khao kha Moo with chili-vinegar and garlice. Yummy!
@@bussareeroekmuang6078 I've eaten Khao ka moo, and there are much better ones on the streets...the gravy too sweet, which I don't like...and the meat not too fresh.

Hi Joe, sorry I didn't catch your live, got home late from work last night and slept through it. Watching now. Your presentation for all 3 food courts are so enticing. Food looks delicious, and the prices are affordable for natives and tourists alike. Icon Siam is my favorite. If I ever in town, I definitely go to the Kanom Jeen lady, for sure. 🙂
No worries Panna, there will be plenty more opportunities to join live, do not worry. Yeah, they are great starting points for tourists I think, or just somewhere if you want something cheap, tasty and with a little more comfort. Of course I prefer proper street food though. Kanom jeen lady is definitely worth the visit, that was fantastic. But my favourite has to be the massaman.
I love mashing my potato and covering it with gravy 😊
I love massaman curry and it's the most delicious curry in the world from CNN GO 2 years in a row, but last year khao soi curry in Northern was the number one in the world instead.
I would be happy with either of them to be honest haha.
I regret not going to this spot man .....Bangkok will see me again!!

Do you usually leave the plates on the table or are u suppose to park them somewhere I am always embarrass to leave them on the table Lol
Most people leave them because people come and clear them up but I usually take them over and stash them away to be helpful
I love Terminal 21, went in 2017. Can't believe how prices are still the same ?? 😕 Whereas in London, prices for food at food courts have gone up by around 30%-40%
I know crazy right? I think the portions have shrunk a little. The other way to boost the margin.
We went to eat here tonight on the 5th floor...pretty dirty floors and 3 cockroach sightings in an hour...pretty disgusting!!
Even the staff acknowledged there was a cockroach problem!
oh no... I am sorry to hear that. I have never seen it dirty or seen a cockroach in there and I have been many times. That really is a shame.

Terminal 21 food court is infested with cockroaches saw 3 of them when we were there eating and we were disgusted
ah that is a great shame. I have never seen anything like that in there so it is a shame for it to ruin your experience. Maybe street food is cleaner after all haha.

Great to meet you guys too. Oh yeah that massaman is one of my favourites if not my favourites in a food court actually. Even I am craving it now.
In my opinion, I will focus on the overall atmosphere rather than the food. The food court at The Icon Siam is beautifully decorated but a little tight; its layout is more akin to a market than a food court. Meanwhile, both MBK and Terminal 21 have a more open atmosphere, with wider walkways between food stalls. When compared to Icon Siam, the sitting areas are much more accessible.

you are definitely right on the seating areas, it is much for friendly and good to meet people. But I do like IconSiam a lot. I think the beef massaman is the best dish of all though.
