Any idea how to stop it beeping every 20 seconds during a power blackout? I'm 30mins into a 5 hr outage and violence is becoming more & more attractive. It's seriously doing my head in!
Hi sorry to comment on older video i saw your range rover 4.4 video is it normal to have tgat sound when you take the oil filler cap off or does it mean chain issues
@@markstanford8646 that video, was a sort of direct demo of my engine for another guy to compare my sounds, to his own engine sounds… my car was, and still is running fine. Note this is the Tdv8 4.4 diesel.
@@johnboyairey Thanks as i have a tvdv8 and mine is exactly the same as yours. was just wondering if that was normal thanks for the reply much appreciated
Sorry I can’t remember… i wouldn’t have thought so.. you need to enter a mode to reprogramme, I did this video as a help to potential buyers of my late mothers stairlift. I seem to remember doing a reprogram though… as I had a different contour (New steepness was tilting the chair too much) when fitting it. So I had to programme the slow cornering, level the chair, and fast straight part. It wasn’t hard to do, with just a button inside (dill switch) and you run it up slowly, pressing certain buttons when different speeds needed. There was an downloadable pdf document from a company, but was the actual acorn instructions, for fitters etc. it was a good stairlift, and it’s been sold a couple of years ago. I changed the batteries when I got it from previous owner. I bought generic cells in same size packs and not direct from acorn. I had to solder the connectors on. It was easy.
Thanks for making this video in such details.
Very helpful video. Thank you!

Is Lithium or Synthetic grease used for maintenance?
Does this model require reprogramming when replacing batteries? Thank you.
