I'm glad I finally - much too late - stumbled across your channel: your presentation style makes it very easy for me to learn from. This is a combination of the carefully selected pace of the voice over and the great clarity of the images used, which show the actions you have taken so effectively. Your style should be copied by some others - those who cover a 30 minute 'class' in about 3 minutes, giving the expression that either their studio is on fire or they are in desperate need to visit the bathroom. I notice though that is has been some years since your last 'episode' during which time there have been considerable changes to darktable. Would you consider reworking some of your earlier videos ?
I will probably not come back. There are a few others that do a wonderful job at this now, check out @s7habo (Boris Hadjukovic) and @audio2u (Bruce Williams).
Thanks very clearly explained so useful. Is there anyway of backing up presets or is there a location where they can be found just in case you upgrade OS or change computers?
@@HPBirkelandPhotography Hi I found the file its data.db in the user/ appdata folder. Learnt this the hard way but at least i know now. Thanks for your reply, Cheers.
Thank you for sharing this useful explanation! I am glad to be a subscriber to your excellent channel!

Hi, sorry I didn't see this until now. Presets are stored in the darktable database, which should always be backed up.
