Your videos are superb I'm just getting my act together on my own overplucked eyebrows. Getting the colour right was a bit of a journey but happy now. What I would love is more of your videos doing makeovers on your friends really loved the ones you've done so far. Happy New Year from a snow covered Scotland!!! x
Catharine's Life Beauty & Lifestyle Thank you! I’ve heard wonderful things about the Dior brow products....might have to splurge one of these days and give them a try☺️
Sheryl Smith Thank you so much! I love the idea of doing a video about how to organize your makeup. I’ll start thinking about some ideas to share😊 The storage drawers I have came from a company called Best Craft Organizer. Here’s a link to their website: www.bestscrapbookshelf.com
This was a great video. THANK YOU, Sharalee. I have very sparse brows and yes I do use a tint. I use the "For Men Only" beard tint. It works well for me and it is made to be used on faces.
Kacy Curran You are welcome! I hope that these tips help with your brows. I've never thought of trying a beard tint but that totally makes sense! Great to hear from you💕
That's a good question! A spoolie looks like the brush on a mascara wand. There are lots of brands that make them but most eyebrow pencils actually have one on the other end of the pencil. If you want to buy one separately, they usually come as a dual ended brush with an angle brush on one side and the spoolie on the other. I have ones from Tarte, Aesthetica and Sedona Lace and they are all great!
Just love your tutorials! You are just beautiful inside and out! Do you do your brows usually before your eye make up or after. If you do your brows first why? I have auburn hair and am looking for a good product for this color. Please keep your videos coming!! Thanks1
Awww, thank you so much!🥰 Usually, I do my brows after my eye makeup. I actually like to do my eye makeup first, clean up any fallout from the eyeshadow and then do my concealer and foundation. Since I think it's easier to put brows on after foundation, that naturally puts the brows towards the end of my makeup application. Most makeup artists say you should do foundation and brows first and then the eyes but I don't often do that. For auburn hair, I've heard that the NYX Precision Brow Pencil makes a great shade and it's actually called "Auburn". Hope it works well for you!
Question....in all your videos you always do your brows first. Is there a reason why? Also any advice/suggestions on eyebrows that are graying? Should I color or just fill in with brow pencil/shade....
Jamie Bertram Usually in videos, I don’t like to make you all stare at my bare face for too long so I start with foundation and brows😘 When I’m not filming, I switch up the order but many times I’ll still do the brows before eyeshadow because it helps me have a frame to build my eyeshadow look around. If you are not letting the rest of your hair go gray, then yes, I’d say dye your eyebrows first and then fill in any sparse areas.
Thanks so much for this video. I am so brow challenged. They have thinned over the years from too much tweezing. I would need the same color as my hair color is like yours but still can't get that haircut right. lol
Eyebrows are my least favorite to do too! You do a great job on yours!!! Genius idea setting with powder before the pencil! Yes I am missing brows by end of day 😂
Oh thank you so much!!😊💕 I hope the powder trick helps with the staying power of your brows too! I've recently been testing a brow serum to help fill-in my sparse brows...stay tuned for that review!😊
Just started watching your videos- started with the hair which I love and heading to store to purchase some of these brow products - do you ever notify before going live or do we just check in with youtube now and then?
Welcome to my channel!💕 I've not yet done a "live" video but yes, I will definitely let you all know prior to doing that....both through the community tab here on TH-cam and on FB. Hope you had a successful day of shopping and found some great new goodies!😘
You are such a beautiful woman. I would like to find a foundation that doesn’t cake. I have wrinkles and cannot find anything with some moisture as I have very dry skin. Your brows are perfect. What is the name of the eyebrow pencil and what color did you use? Thank you.
Thank you so much!!🥰 My favorite brow pencil is the NYX Precision Brow Pencil and I love the shade “Taupe”. As for moisturizing foundation.....have you ever tried the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer? It’s a very hydrating Gel Cream that my mom, who has dry skin, really loves. It can be layered and built up to about a medium coverage but it looks so good on mature skin😊
Hi, love your informational videos. I'm from Canada, so could you tell me what stores sell NYX products? E.g. Target, Walmart, or are they only sold at make-up stores? Please. I plan on taking a trip to Florida in the near future and would appreciate your help.Thank you so much.
I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying my videos!😊 Let’s see....NYX is sold in Target stores and in Ulta Beauty stores. There are also some drugstores like CVS that carry some NYX but Target and Ulta will have the best selection. Happy Shopping!🛍
Love how natural your brows look. I don't care for the super thick, very obviously painted- on brow. They look like caterpillars, & I can't help but stare!
Hi Rosalind! I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying my channel😘 I’m sorry for the delay in responding...I’ve been trying to decide on my top recommendations for you😊 My video from a few days ago on favorite new skincare products does feature a couple of moisturizers that would work great for you. For a less expensive alternative to the Murad Night Cream, you can mix your own concoction of facial oils....one of the best for mature skin is Rosehip Seed Oil. For daytime/makeup......have you tried BareMinerals Complexion Rescue? That can actually work great as an all-in-one product. My mom loves that and she is 71. If, however, you want a more traditional foundation that’s super inexpensive, try the Wet n Wild Photo Focus liquid foundation.
I love all of your videos!! I wish I would've found you earlier in my life, lol. I am late coming into the makeup. I am 52 and I am struggling with what color to use on my eyebrows. I have dark brown/black colored eyebrows and I do not have much to them at all, pretty much a straight line, with a little bit of an arch. I also have a spot where hair doesn't grow due to me splitting open my head playing softball when I was younger. HELP!! I just want to have pretty eyebrows. One last thing, my eyelids are pretty saggy, I don't know what to do with them either. My hair is a medium reddish brown.
I am so happy you found my channel!! It's never too late to up your makeup game😘 From what you described of your hair color, you'll probably want an eyebrow shade in the warm chocolate family. I think the NYX Micro Brow Pencil or Precision Brow Pencil in "Chocolate" might work well for you. Since you have some really dark brow hairs, this shade might bring a little lighter color to your brows and help match your hair color better. You might also want to consider the RapidBrow Serum to help your eyebrows grow back....this has worked wonders for me! I don't think it will work in your scar area but it would help the rest of your brows look fuller. I have a review that I'll link below. As for the eyelids, definitely be sure you are using a good eye cream and applying it to the lids at night. I've been testing two new ones that seem to have a good firming effect - one is from Paula's Choice (Resist Anti-Aging Eye Cream) and the other is from Thrive Causemetics (Defying Gravity Eye Lifting Cream). When applying eyeshadow, be sure to take your crease color up a little higher to help disguise the "hood". Hope all of those tips are helpful!💕 RapidBrow Serum Review - th-cam.com/video/JWNAE0KQMvQ/w-d-xo.html
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolatesThank you for the information. I think I am going to try the Paula's Choice Eye Cream first to see if it works for me. How have these been for you? I am to the point that I want to get my eyes done because I feel like they make me look older, but if I can avoid that, I definitely want to. So let me know which one of the eye creams worked best for you. Keep up the tutorials. I love them!!!
Without knowing what type of coverage you want or skin type you have, it’s hard for me to know exactly the best foundation for you. However, a couple that I’d recommend that are great for more mature skin are the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue or the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. The IT CC Cream has a little more coverage than the BareMinerals, but the BareMinerals is more hydrating. Depending on your skin type, you may not need to use powder with either of these. If you tend to get a little oily throughout the day then you will want to set these. However, if you have drier skin, you probably can get away with no powder at all.
Hi, question: I’m 70 yo and have “next to no” eyebrows at all. There’s a small patch in the center......how can I possibly give myself some eyebrows without looking fake? Thank you in advance......love your tutorials!!
Donna DeWalt Thank you for watching my videos😊 Great question!! So the trick for you will be to do hair-like strokes with either a fine tipped pencil or I think the NYX precision brow pencil shape would work as well. Try drawing a faint line along the bottom of where you want your brow to be. Then, place your pencil on the line and do light, upward strokes to mimic brow hairs. Then, use a brow mascara that has fibers to add a little texture to the front part of your brow. Hope these tips will help!!
Donna DeWalt You are entirely welcome! I have no doubt that with a little practice, you’ll be an eyebrow pro in no time😉 Thank you so much for watching my videos and supporting me here on TH-cam!💖
selenia carrico Yes, sorry....hard to get close to the camera and my mirror without it blocking the camera's view. I'll keep working on it😊 Happy New Year!

Brows make quite a difference, huh?!😄
Great job my friend! Loved seeing how you do your brows. Didn't know the saying about "sisters not twins!" Thank goodness that's the case! Ha!
E Clark Thank you, my friend! Yes, it’s such a relief knowing they don’t have to be twins!😜☺️
What brow color would you recommend for silver hair? Thank you.
Look for a cool "taupe" or "ash brown" color. Both of these colors from NYX Cosmetics would work well I think😘
