Excellent drills and i purchased one of your courses. I have a question though when you are talking about the grip that we do not change the grip isn’t why the left hand is there holding the racquet in the early stages of the preparation depending on the ball?
I’ve been struggling with the one handed backhand for a long time. This video is precious. I do these drills and just like that, the backhand started working
Very well explained. It helps me a lot. Besides, I am learning english, he speaks very clearly, each word well articulated. I could understand everything.
The best teacher by far…thanks ! Each time , even if i’m watching plenty nice guy, i’m coming back to you to learn. To really learn. The last time was about forehand . I did exactly what you said. Amazing ..so powerful without effort.. it’s hard to relax but it’s working so well.i never undestood what happening exactly whith the wrist during contact whith the ball, and how to create spin whithout given the key of the situation to the wrist.and now i understand. All that to say that it’s very generous from people like you to give us so much. on contact with the one hand backhand..crucial point. Now it’ clear.
You are one of the best online coaches I have come across on all youtube videos I've watched so far. Superb pedagogic and communication skills. Many thanks!
Hello coach IAM french I tried your training Method on myself and it works well . My one hand backhand has improved a lot thank you very much for your training tips
Thank you Kevin I have heard different elements of this before but have struggled with my one hand. This drill by drill breakdown and particularly understanding of the racquet face at contact I am joint is a real breakthrough moment for my one hander
I do all but the wrist rotation for spin. I hit hard flat backhands that usually hit the net or back fence. I need to focus on sweeping up on the ball. I’ll try these drills. Thanks for video.
Greetings from Scotland. Thank you for a superb clear and detailed set of drills and guidance..I totally agree with you point about single focus per drill.
Thank you!! Finally, someone explains it in a very clear fashion. I absolutely agree with you that instructors and coaches do not take the time to explain these drills that will fundamentally improve your mechanics.
Great video....you make it so easy and clear. I have a student who have a single hand backhand .but her preparation and followthru are over exagerated. Very difficut to make correction. I Will try your exercices. Thank you so much. Scheers...
Kevin, this is exactly what players need. Taking lessons to make one good shot out of 100 doesn't create good habits nor the understanding of what the shot should feel like! Do you do online coaching ?
Thanks so much, everything you show that makes sense, and little step by little step you have guided keeping on the right path to make a little improvement, your details guide never miss the big picture of perfecting the stroke. You must a lot of knowledge and practical hitting, walk the talk, not only words, your video hooks me up already. Thanks again.
Saved and subbed. just started with tennis and as a boxer and surfer, shifting balance, using hip rotations and strength in general are not issues. Your videos on the right form and technique as well as the drills here are super helpful. Straight to the point, no none sense. Thank you Sir!
Really like what you said at the start about only focusing on one thing. It's crazy how often you see coaching sessions and the coach is pointing out everything the player is doing "wrong" on the shot
Dear Coach .. I believe what you have shared is a very common mistake by coaches .. breaking the parts down n making repetition is very effective .. tQ for sharing. I like the last part best i.e. finding the best racket face angle upon hitting the ball. Success to you coach
Kevin, your method of instruction provides great clarity in each step and drill. I'm regretting that I have not subscribed to your you tube page earlier!! Can't wait to get and practice these drills...one at time...thanks so much.
Someone give this man an award! :)
Yeah! Hmm, oh I got one, how about “The Master Tennis Instructor Award “🏆
He has a great deal of understanding of dynamics.
A true Student of how to Play and go about Being Good. Quite Observant 🤔😲😊🌤
Thanks, I really appreciate the compliments and support!!
@@TotalTennisDomination USTA should put you in as the lead developer of the US national junior program and pay you $800,000 per year

You inspired me to incorporate tennis in my new 50,000 sq. ft. Multi Sport facility. Salute!

Awesome, Kevin and crew. I've been wanting drills for my OHB to do off-court.
These instructions are amazingly good. Question: how many reps you do of these drills and for how long? A week? Every one day each week?
Excelentes consejos, hay q ponerlos en práctica, magnifico instructor he visto los videos anteriores, servicio, forhand y este ultimo backhand
Such great instruction. Thank you!
Deconstructing these techniques into their fundamental elements is by far the most effective learning mechanism. Btw, what a ripper at 2:14!
Thanks George!
