Unfortunately there is no option to seal watercolor paintings. Even I was searching for something to protect my watercolor paintings but you can protect them by framing them. Also don't use liquid varnish on paper, it will spread the colors.

Hii! I used this particular varnish as a top coat to seal the acrylic painting i did on my phone case and cracks started to appear. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
Was your phone case plain or rough before painting acrylic on it? Acrylic doesn't stay on plain surface and if you want to apply varnish on such surface then spray varnish is recommended
I applied this varnish on fevicryl acrylic colour then also the colors got spread. (I have tried to make key chains of clay and then painted acrylic colour on it and then this varnish)

Sorry but I haven't tried varnish on Soft pastels so I can't recommend them. Let me know if you find the solution somewhere

Try to varnish on some other work of yours of masking tape then do on your painting
