Thank you for the video. May I know what is the procedure if instead of Isotropic material , I need to do same analysis with a laminate (composed of say 4 laminas each lamina with different fiber orientation angle) ? I know how to do using shell 181 element in apdl. Any ideas how to proceed with Axismmetry ?
APDL stands for Ansys Parametric Design Language. This video has nothing to do with that but used legacy ANSYS Mechanical GUI, aka MAPDL. The title is grossly misleading!

Hi, Axisymmetric can be modelled only in XY Plane, better proceed with Shell 181 element
@@fea_dme_creo_hypermesh Thank you
Is that possible for you to upload video showing 3D model import in apdl and perform meshing? Or recommend any link to similar videos. Thanks
Can you just help me with adding texts in the apdl screen
Hi, I have created a video about adding text in ANSYS APDL please go through it th-cam.com/video/BDS0AD6AyaA/w-d-xo.html
