Ever since I saw the Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda vs Count Dooku lightsaber duel scene in Attack of the Clones when I was a kid, Count Dooku's lightsaber had become one of my favorites. This will be one of the first lightsabers I'm going to get along with the Cal Kestis lightsaber.
Damn same lmao. Cal Kestis has to be one of the coolest lightsabers and one of the ones I have the most attachment too, and count dookus is so unique and god damn I really want both of them lmao.
yeah most of the side character's sabers look like trash, i wish they would put the extra effort to at least make them look like the movie sabers... i guess im going to save up to get saberforge's saber since it actually look like the real thing
Fun little observation. The hilt is designed to be used for either one handed or two handed grip styles. It's that little curve it has. It turns it into a one handed hilt but depending on the situation it can be briefly turned into a two handed grip hilt by simply grabbing the curved part. I'm rewatching clone wars and it's amazing how detailed Dookus fighting style is. It's to the point where you can honestly tell whether he's taking a fight seriously or not.

@@alisarivera7910 They had Dooku but were sold out of Ahsoka. They do have her other set, just not the newer release. I was bummed. I'm hoping Disney Springs will get them.

I’ll be there this coming weekend and I will let you know. Oh great I’ll get the Dooku’s and cross my fingers they have Ahoska’s clone war ones. If not I’ll pick up her Rebels ones for now because those were sold out last time I was up.

I don't think that "temporarily closed" is true but let me know if you find out. My next and probably final trip for a while is in December. Good luck! I hope you get them!

I love the thickness of the hilt! I knew the Dooku hilt was slimmer but for some reason the thicker look on it looks better in my personal opinion. Just ordered one and am very excited for it’s arrival!
Really want this saber to complement my Darth Sidious Galaxy's Edge saber as my collection. I don't have room for any more and I like how the Disney ones are reasonably priced! I screwed up and didn't order it from Disney when it was on sale. Hope they get it back in stock.
One pro of owning this officially licensed legacy version is that it'll hold it's value. Custom sabers, while better in most every way, don't as much. Thoughts?
Yes, not to mention the fact that they are presented in a much more collectible manor in those crates and if the blade gets a dark spot it can be replaced easily. Not sure why people still by the Black Series FX sabers now, these Galaxy's edge ones are much more desirable
Yeah, even though the custom sabers have better quality and suitable for fighting, these feel more valuable and special, they look like the real thing and I feel like people would be more impressed. But I’m not that much of a collector, I usually use lightsabers for duels, so I use prefer custom ones because they are more durable and duel ready. But I agree with your statement in some way.

You don’t have to hit it hard, if you kinda jerk the hilt it’ll activate it, like when you do for a clash it’ll jerk the hilt to a stop, if that kinda makes sense
This is good! Tyranus' lightsaber is one of my favorite lightsaber. Every material, including chromed parts, red trigger, rubberized grip are great. Only the proportion bothers me. This hilt is too thick to attach blades. If it was thinner like original prop, I would have bought it.

I bought this, and i modified it, it is now full neopixel with bluetooth, it fits in there fine. Just don't break the bottom fin off, you need the integrity it provides.
I think because they insist to have a blade that fits all of the hilts. so some of the sabers like the graflex style ones are more accurate because they are thicker then more advanced styles like mace, dooku and Luke
I might consider getting this one since my passes end early next year so I won’t be able to get Cal’s. I was hoping it would release sooner but I won’t be able to get it unfortunately.
My question is if there is a new blade for Ahsoka's shoto, since the smallest one they have is 26in or 28 in. Which is too long for the shoto, the blade for the shoto at most I believe is 20in, but I could be wrong.
What if they made a legacy section when building your own lightsaber that had different pieces of other characters lightsabers that you can use in your build

Something that they could’ve done with no trouble but they somehow messed it up is both the ignition switch isn’t even the real switch and that it’s black instead of red but it’s still a good saber.

That's a really good deal if you ask me. Now I know why the custom lightsabers are more expensive. One part of me is considering getting a custom saber but another part isn't wanting to part with 200 bucks. I want a good souvenir from this place either a droid or a saber. But I'd like a saber.

I love Count Dooku’s saber but I’m disappointed in the size and how they didn’t use the trigger as an ignition switch.
It would be inconvenient for the ignition switch to be that low.

They still can't get the ignition switch right, the trigger is right there they should just make it accurate
Maybe they don’t know how to wire it correctly as that trigger is pretty low.

Dude the scale of the actual prop is a lot smaller and thinner. The official versions look like they just came out of McDonald's for the 50th time.

The 36 inch one. There are 3 versions, Savi's version, 36 inch and one that is 24 or 26 inch

You should turn the saber without any light, it will look much better.

The curved hilt mimics the hilt on actual fencing sabers. They are curved so you can more naturally extend the blade into a thrust position
