    I love so mutch this old stile jobs and also this kind of ecology machines!
    I will start up to learn this tecniques, but you can say me wehere it' s possibile to find the hand tools? I think that it's noto siple...

    Great video. I just had a small question, why don't you want it to spin faster? I'd imagine if it was spinning faster, then it would be easier to cut?

    Ben, I see some of these lathes the rope goes through the bed, as you do, and sometimes I see that they go behind. Any benefits to either approach?

      Yes it was a shame about that it was filmed before we had a proper mic and camera set up.

    the reason for all the views and so few comments is the wind over shadows the video and most people cant watch it from beg to end. same reason im not finishing the vid wish i could nice set up though traditional strives to be this simple
