That'll be one third watched, with two thirds still to watch. 66 in total and I'm loving it! I'd forgotten Sergeant Cork, so this re-aquaintance is WONDERFUL! THANKYOU FOR SHARING!!!
Pity some of the more recent so called stars didn't watch this and see what real acting is. Some of the longer scenes are amazing. Eye contact and diction, the men are men and the women so feminine. Enjoying the escape to the past.
It is crazy to me that Cork goes ballistic on his office servant, demanding tea the moment he enters the office, but then usually ends up leaving nearly immediately, and before the poor, put-upon crank has returned. Still, love this series. Thanks
are you American? Have you ever noticed how people go into eateries in movies or tv, order huge meal then leave without eating any. They do that because they cannot do 2 things at once, act and eat, walk or chew gum etc.
The case file numbers are rather fantastically imaginary -- in the 5500's one week, and the 1200's the next. I wonder if they did that on purpose, just to see if anyone would notice. That's the great Graham Crowdon as the chemical analyst Dr. Tovey. I used to enjoy him so much in Waiting for God, along with Stephanie Cole.

Thanks❤ I enjoyed watching it.
Brilliant .
Lovely Annette Andre. Great to see her in something other than Randall and Hopkirk.❤
Thought she looked familiar.

Stage training pays off I'd say. 👍
Good one - with a bittersweet ending, Loved the 'hotelier'. ;-) Aren't pharmacists known as chemists in England?
There are strong plot points with the film "Pink String and Sealing Wax" starring Googie Withers and Gordon Jackson made in late forties.
I miss hats. 🎩

It's Jeanie Hopkirk!😉
That much be the most false moustache on William Gaunt in the history of TV.
Why would he bother with a false moustache, when he could easily grow a genuine one.
I heard he cultivated his own undergrowth..
LOL 😂
The Nicholas Clay, who played the young lad, Henry, is the same Nicholas Clay who played Lancelot in John Boreman's, "Excalibur"?

There's a lot of similarities between this and J.B. Priestley's 'An Inspector Calls.
gOD DAMN THAT WAS TRAGIC
