Those things are family heirlooms and they have real longevity. In Norway where they were invented it's quite normal for them to last several generations. The biggest reasons people there don't buy new Tripp Trapps is they inherited the one they were raised in and don't need to buy another.
Are the Stokke straps able to be completely removed to throw in the washer/deep clean? Based on videos/reviews, just a wipe isn't enough to disinfect, there's a lot of discoloration. Thanks!
If you mean the harness straps to buckle them in, we personally don’t use it or strap her in anymore. Of course when she was 8-11 months old we would buckle her in but she’s gotten so mobile that we’ve never used it since then. She’s 3 turning 4 in September now. If you mean the actual bucket where you put their legs through, I would judge it by weight and size than the age. My daughter can still fit through it nicely so we still put her in that little bucket. Most likely when she’s 4 and half, for sure age 5, is when i can see us removing that bucket insert into just a normal Stokke chair
We used the ikea potty insert for our toilet and a stool so it was easy for her to get on by herself. Daycare also helped a lot! And when you say how she went down by herself, do you mean on and off the toilet or the high chair? For the high chair she used the bottom step (where she rests her feet on) to climb on and off easily :)
Loved how thorough the explanation was 😊thank you!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it !

That’s interesting to know ! And it saves a family a lot of money by passing it down which is among the many reasons why it’s expensive
I love this high chair. It’s pricey but beautiful and very well made.
Absolutely ! One of the most long lasting baby item :)

The newer models 2020 and newer you can. Unfortunately my model (in the video) you have to spot clean! Hope that helps!🙏🏻
You guys looking great
Thanks!🙏🏻♥️
At what age would you say kids outgrew that harness insert? The insert that allows it to be used as a high chair?

What did you use when she was potty training? How did she get up and down by herself?
