She is pure most likely it's just that My Heritage likes to put random populations in people's DNA for whatever reason, when most of the time they don't have any relatives from that area. 23andme is much more accurate.

I agree. My Heritage is very inaccurate. They have me with 20% Italian ancestry. I have no Italian ancestry nor relatives on My Heritage with Italian ancestry. Moreover, none of my close relatives have Italian ancestry. For better accuracy, use Gedmatch. I take MyHeritage with a large grain of salt!

No West Asian isn't that shocking. Especially if you're Nigerian descent. A lot of people who are Nigerian have Fulani heritage. Fulani's have some west Asian heritage. My heritage is a wildly inaccurate service. I've seen Africans with as much as 4-5% European on my heritage and then are 100% Sub-Saharan on 23andme. 23andme is far more accurate than my heritage and has more population samples. I wouldn't take these results seriously at all. Take 23andme and if you're 100% African on there than those are the correct results.

Ancient DNA is further back in time, so naturally it would be much smaller in percentages than modern populations. If it's extremely far back it will likely be a fraction of a percentage (at most), not equivalent to a great grandparent. It does not make sense for me to be 100% European on 23andme and then end up 89% European and 11% East Asian on My heritage. One of them is clearly wrong. This is the stuff that Myheritage does all the time, and we know they have less data, less samples, less updates (again haven't updated since 2016) and less of everything. The other companies have far more samples from everywhere, yearly updates in the algorithm, and weekly updates on the matches etc. Many Africans who take Myheritage and end up with other stuff, will turn around and take the test on 23andme and Ancestry and end up 100% African, and all their matches are all Africans. no Europeans, no Middle Easterners etc.. I've seen this countless times. African Americans, on the other hand, will show out of African ancestry on 23andMe and Ancestry because it's real and they have genetic matches with people from those places. I got south asian too. have nigerian parents ,l am Nigerian Ibibio tribe I got 73 Nigerian, 22 percent Kenyan, 2 south Asian and 2.5 % Finnish.
