Progressive Muscle Relaxation for the Management of Anxiety & Stress (finally back up & reuploaded!)

  • This is a 'progressive muscle relaxation'. Progressive muscle relaxation (a.k.a. PMR) is an effective relaxation technique that has been scientifically researched by the medically community and is extremely effective in the management of anxiety, stress, tension and insomnia. It involves tensing and relaxing all the muscles of the body progressively from head to toe to help induce a deep state of relaxation. When you experience deep physical relaxation, your mind automatically becomes more relaxed.
    The original video (2015) unfortunately was deleted during the demonetization and I was not able to get it back. Fortunately I had the script saved and was able to re-record it and reupload it for you again. I hope you find this helpful!

      I still have and frequently play the original version. I love them both, the original and this new re-recording, which has a few changes and improvements, I noticed. Sometimes, it's hard to scroll through and find favorites from the vast number of videos you've made, Joanne, so I made a folder and put all my favorites there, for easier access, including the original version of this pmr video.

    So currently in a bout of stress sickness as a mental health prof called it (all day nausea from being too stressed for too long) and so I’m starting daily meditations to start to get out of it. This. Is. The shit. The instructions are so specific I wish all practices were like this

    Dear Joanne, was your passive muscle relaxation video also deleted? Do you think you will be able to recreate it (or something similar), or is it available anywhere else? I hope I’m not rude for asking. I’m sure you have lots of creative work to do, and I appreciate it all, but the passive relaxation video was a long time favourite of mine, which is why I wanted to humbly request it if you ever have the time ♥️

      I don’t have ads playing at the end. It’s good to make sure you have turned off “auto-play” on your TH-cam player otherwise the default setting will start the next video automatically and if the video is monetized then you’ll get a loud af beginning to play.
