A chatty video in which I talk about the moves I've had when I was younger and give a short update as to how things are going now (about a week and a half after moving).

I really enjoyed getting to hear more about you. I had no idea about your siblings and your boyfriend, or even where you used to live, so it was nice to get some context and a little peek into your life. Also, I loved that animation! Did you make it yourself?

Thank you so much Simone!! I did make the animation myself! I'm so glad you liked it! It's the first time I tried doing that, I used free pictures that came with the video editor I use.

sounds like an exciting new chapter. I had a long distance move about this time last year, and I'm still getting organised in my new location. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, and enjoy having your own space. Take care.

Depression makes things hard! Especially with everything else you had to deal with when you were young.
I don't think I know anyone with their Masters who did it in the recommended time :P
I tell people who knock on my door that I have a policy against door-to-door salespeople - I say it before they say anything and then I close the door :P if they interrupt me, I just say my line about my policy again. I hate strangers knocking at my door.
(Even friends showing up with no warning is annoying to me).
I remember having slow internet and trying to upload assignments D: so painful!
I think give yourself lots of patience for working through the moving changes. I think you already know to spread out big changes into small changes :) I also find it helpful to keep track of good things, including when I overcome bad things. (Pretty much all the books I've read on happiness recommend gratitude journals and research suggests it can help with depression too). You'll get used to the move eventually :) xox

Thank you for the really long comment, Penny! Ah that's good to know! That it wasn't just me I mean :P. I love your idea of the policy against door-to-door salespeople! Yes, it annoys me too when friends show up without warning. It's nice you can relate :D. Thank you :)! Thanks so much for the tips :)! Thanks! xox

I always am wearing the same clothes in my videos - especially when I bulk film :P It's so lovely that you two have been able to get your own house together. It sounds like the first move you did was really hard for you so I can understand why moving is a bit of anxious time. Especially with so much change going on with school as well as moving location. It sounds like education is exhausting for you and I understand that because it is relentless and it is always very intense with deadlines and more information. Moving out definitely comes with adult responsibilites and it is quite some adjusting to. I am sorry that there are some difficult times but I think it's always good when there are some things you miss and some you don't. Hopefully your mental health approves as you steadily get accumulated to the change.

That makes sense :P. Thank you, I feel very lucky we were able to get a house. Thank you! That's true, it probably is good that there are things I miss and some things I don't miss. Thanks :)! x

It sounds like you have gone from living in a rural area to a suburban one. That would take some adjustment for anyone. I live at the back of a suburban strata complex. It's pretty quiet overall but the complex is on a 4-lane road that runs between a busier 4-lane road & a freeway. When COVID-19 hit & most businesses were closed & people were working from home, my place was really quiet. I could sit outside and there was no traffic noise. I loved it! As things returned to normal I realised that I like things quiet. If I won Lotto perhaps I would move to a rural area, but then maybe I'd be trading traffic noise for animal noises and tractors. Do you prefer the sounds of the country or the city, or is it too soon for you to say?

The quiet there sounds lovely! I think it is too soon for me to say, right now I'd say I prefer the sounds of the country. I do like being closer to the shops and the library and such, but with COVID-19 I'm going to such places only rarely (I haven't been to the library since 2019). Thank you for watching and commenting!!
