Generating Solar in Quartzsite | Nomad Sundial in the Desert

  • Today was the first full day in La Posa South, I got my Solar generating juice, and for some odd reason I decided to start building a sundial in the middle of the desert!!!

    Getting that solar up and running will be a game changer. And- did you lose some leveler blocks ? saw some by the big dumpster separated out. Watching that channel grow😁

    You do know that there are a lot of coyotes in the LTVA areas? They're pretty bold, they will wait under your camper for your dog to come out....true story, happened last season. Please keep little Hope very close to you at all times. The portable dog fence panels work well to keep your dog contained. I like LaPosa south, camped near the dumpsters last year - year before that at Tyson Wash.

    It was a pleasure to meet you! I stand our panels up long ways now. The wind is less likely to flip them over and break them then. I lost one last year in the wind while they were on their sides.

    I tinker with everything and just bought a round 300lb limit load, 16' turntable to track the Sun... I'm commenting on this vid and have yet to see any comment I left for in the last video. I have a 17 year old Golden Shepard vet said he'll pass anyday...that was 2 years ago.. hang in there...=-)

    Tilt your solar panels MORE, longer legs. Their shadows should be the near the size of the panels, not 2X.
