You are so right! I read your comment before I watched the video and wondered how something so "complicated" could be taught without word. Yet I understood everything🎉🙏😇🎉
Your videos are clear and easy for follow. The best tutorials I have watched on sewing. Very clean work as well! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
The back size should be 2 cm longer than the front size. If they are equal, the front body will pull backwards. Your drawing and explanation are excellent.
@@ehiskandar9299 oh come on, be kind. She is right, the front part is pulled backward to be worn by someone with big bust i knew it very first i started sewing & only know how to make pattern with one dart, but yes, making the back pattern longer than the front is not really good. I make the front pattern 1-2 cm longer than the back, i add 1-2 cm at front waist, so when the front bodice pulled bakward, the front waist seam still be where it should be, not a little bit higher
Hi Thuy Phan... I'm still learning to sew by self-taught, I often and like to see your videos, can you give a detailed example of how to sew sleeves? I'm still a little confused about how to apply it. I'm waiting for the video...thank you 😊😉
Hi Thuy , thanks for teaching the sewing technique , much appreciated. Can you please peach me how to cut and stitch a slit on the bottom side of a dress pant ?
Will the 3 cm bust dart fit all sizes, especially those with a larger than B cup size? Is it because the bust depth measurement takes care of that? In other words, folks with a large bust will naturally have a greater bust depth? If my surmise is correct, this is so much easier than doing a bust adjustment, meaning a larger dart. You're my new hero in sewing. I watch all your videos. Thank you for taking the time to teach us.
Your method of drafting seems so straight forward. I`m a size 16 - 18. Is there any adjustment I would have to make to your measurement for my size? I have little high tummy, broad back and fat arms. I can sew but the drafting of pattern is where I go astray. I am sort of a perfectionist and if the clothes I do has a problem I tend to not go back to it. I just want to find a method of drafting where I can be comfortable doing it. Most drafters tend to do small to large sizes. I`ll wait in anticipation for your answer.
Thank you so much for the pattern. Please tell me how to trace and stitch this. I don't know how to do the darts properly. Can you tell which sewing video uses this pattern with darts?
Have you uploaded a video in which you show how to stitch this pattern? I have measured marked and cut the fabric yet to stitch it. I am confused as to where to start
Thank you very much ,your videos are very helpful for me as a beginner. Could you please make a video about circle skirt, every time when I have tried had no success. Thank you. Please keep going to do this videos, are very good. Thank you again. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
If you are a seamstreess, you would understand the demonstration, I don't understand. I occasionally sew, I could never free lance an item, non the less I truly enjoy watching sewing tutorials.
Hi THUY, love your video. Can you tell me how much we should add for ease? And for the back side, wouldn't it too short after we reduce 3cm? Thanks so much
Ease depends on your fabric(stretchy or not) , stylelish(loose or tight) then you will add or not add ease. Back bodice is smaller and shorter than front bodice because the bust in front, after closing the side dart, they'll have the same side length, i hope to help you ♥️
Even without talking, your instruction is super clear, very easy to understand. Thank you for sharing Thuy Phan.

Whoever taught you must be slapped. When the front dart is sewn, it will be parallel to the back.
Slapping? 🤣

Thank you so much for the pattern. Please tell me how to trace and stitch this. I don't know how to do the darts properly. Can you tell which sewing video uses this pattern with darts?

Not yet🥰

Thank a lot💞
Been waiting for this,,thanks,😍🤗
Wow very clear...😊😊
دەست خۆش گول و دل😍😘
Thank you sooo much.. very useful
hello my dear, so for the front length should we add 3cm? thank you~
Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such a clear way. Are your tutorials only for women or can I use them to make a men's pattern to?
Cô có dạy onlai không ạ
Thank you for sharing
Thank you mam 👌
Hello Thuy! Does these formulas work for all sizes?
I like this tutorial
Apt. Thanks for sharing
Hello, does this pattern already included with seam allowance or should I add 1-2cm more when I copy the pattern to the fabric?
It doesn't include ease and seam allowance, you should add them to real product, watch my latest DIY clothes videos to easy understand ❤
Hai, i am from Indonesian 😊
Have you uploaded a video in which you show how to stitch this pattern?
I have measured marked and cut the fabric yet to stitch it.
I am confused as to where to start
Very clear thanks for this tutorial thuy
What is bust depth? Is it from shoulder to bust vertical measurement?
Thân sau ko chồm vai à chị ơi?
Obrigada por ensinar! 👏👏🙌
Eu acho que ela não entende nem Inglês ou português! 💕
Desculpe, acabei de ver comentários em inglês e ela respondeu, mas não respondeu nenhum em português. Então acho que ela não fala português b💕😊
Thank you very much ,your videos are very helpful for me as a beginner.
Could you please make a video about circle skirt, every time when I have tried had no success. Thank you.
Please keep going to do this videos, are very good. Thank you again. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
thank you, i'll try my best❤
Why you always add 1cm for the circumference from neck, bust, and waist?
4:11
How did you get 7cm for that? Is there any formula for it?
If you are a seamstreess, you would understand the demonstration, I don't understand. I occasionally sew, I could never free lance an item, non the less I truly enjoy watching sewing tutorials.
Thank you
Can these patterns be reused for other dresses/projects?
Yes🥰
Do you know any book that I can learn this kind of pattern making?
Thank you so much mam
Thanks vert much
Hi THUY, love your video. Can you tell me how much we should add for ease? And for the back side, wouldn't it too short after we reduce 3cm? Thanks so much
Ease depends on your fabric(stretchy or not) , stylelish(loose or tight) then you will add or not add ease. Back bodice is smaller and shorter than front bodice because the bust in front, after closing the side dart, they'll have the same side length, i hope to help you ♥️
Thanks so much. 🙏
Ma'am when we draw the side dart, should we add 3cm for body length or arm hole length? Please reply
Body length🥰
Merci infiniment thanks very much
수고함 ,
Plz can you give me an example of neck depth ÷5+1cm used in your drafting sheet
To get the neck depth first measure ur neck circumference(say for eg:35cm)… divide it by 5 => 35/5=7cm.. add 1 giving me 8cm neck depth
Why 7cm from the arm hole depth line to make side dart ???
rất biết ơn bạn
Thanks you
What kind of paper do you use ?
It's kraft paper🥰
@@ThuyPhanmadewithlove thanks!
Is the measurement calculation correct for 2 and 5 year old child?
Is back pattern subtract 1cm in brust?
The back is smaller than the front about 1cm because of bust in front♥️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
But how did you mark front sleeves?
Mark it after cutting on fabric, you can see how I made in real product videos🥰
3:29 why + 3 ? Should it be -3 instead?
Can you teach me patter making online.
Vc podia mostrar a peça pronta! Para vermos o resultado. 🙌
Ela não fala português… 💕
Please is it same as in inches. Shoulder divide by 10
Yes♥️
b what is the number of bust sleeves when divided by 10 into 12.
Bust divided by 10 then add 3cm
@@ThuyPhanmadewithlove I mean how much is the chest? 10 is divided by how much.
How to fine shoulder slope?
good
Chỗ dang ngực là lấy số đo như thế nào ạ?
Đo từ khoảng cách 2 đỉnh ngực chia 2 nha 🥰
@@ThuyPhanmadewithlove dạ, em cảm ơn chị.
