Awesome! Cant wait to hear stuff like notifier fire lite or EST voice evac messages through whatever speaker you put there. I think the voice evac panel goes into trouble briefly probably cause its reseting and it temperarly turns on the trouble relay for whatever reason. Ive seen this on addressable notifier panels. They go into a system initialization trouble when you reset them. In their case, its caused by the SLC loop going back online while the initiating devices reinitilazes.
I’m getting back into fire alarms, so I’m glad to see my go to fire alarm channel uploading more!

For being on FWR the TrueAlert Horn doesn't sound half bad
As an EAS enthusiast which I’m not really into it but have a little tiny bit of interest, that is really cool. What will be even cooler if it was hooked upped to a ENDEC and have it go off automatically when the ENDEC goes off, playing an actual EAS message on a speaker strobe fire alarm
10/10 video, this one has done it, you should change the simplex speaker strobes with notifier ones and play a notifier slow woop tone, really cool.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the Gentex sounder uses an analog tone generator with how it behaved when you set it off, interesting that an alarm with that tech is still being produced
Wanted to drop a note that the EAS tone you used in this video is neat-- I was wondering if the clip you used was for a specific SAME code? Not that you'd ever use this in a commercial or professional setting, of course, because doing so would trigger genuine activations, am just curious! I've always been intrigued by the technology we rely on to keep people informed and safe, and that includes the EAS system and it's SAME encryption coding.
How did you pull the emergency alert sound bite into your wheellock panel?
You should get a foam fire suppression system from a hanger installed and test it for us

Sometime you should do one with that simplex speaker strobe set to smart sync and a Wheelock E50 synced together by putting them both on Wheelock sync.
Grant is there a way u could find bells from ACME and test them. They are vintage. Theres one that says AC VIBRATING on it.

How did you put mods on you wheelock safepath panel
I have a speaker which I have the an amplifier at the time this comment is modded.
The amplifier has a power supply. I use a BG-12 as a switch to turn it on/ off

I like how when he puts his hand to cover up the Gentex GHLFW low frequency sounder when it's going off that it creates a sliding sound where the pitch slides down from it's original 538 Hz to 506 Hz

@@SERSafety So my school used to have speaker strobes and horn strobes of simplex that did code 3. Unfortunately, they no longer do that as the speaker strobes were changed to whoop. What I always wondered (because the system used to be not in sync), is what do the two sound like together if they were in sync. Also, sorry for the delay of response

DISCLAIMER: If you are a younger person tormented by the EAS tone, please refrain from watching 7:29
It's not really a tormenting tone because it's an 853 Hz and an 960 Hz sine wave tones played together and musical enough they're a Major Second interval as the 853 Hz tone is close to an Ab5 note and the 963 Hz tone is close to an Bb5 note. If it was a tritone THEN the tone would be more tormenting because a tritone is known as "the devil's interval" as it's a musical interval that's composed of two notes that are six semitones, or three adjacent whole tones, apart which sounds very dissonant. It sounds tormenting because they sit in between a perfect fourth and fifth. So yes, thank God that the EAS attention tone is just a major second interval of 853 Hz (Ab5 note) and a 963 Hz (Bb5 note) played together and not a tritone where it could be like 853 Hz (Ab5 note) and a 1174 Hz (D5 note)
