No como en el Fútbol, Costa Rica y Honduras y otros equipos de Centro America, no ayudan a Mexico, para cualificar para Copa Mundial de la FIFA, en puntos, y en derrotas, con equipos que México necesitara que perder, para que el "TRI" avanzara en puntos en las qualificaciones para el Mundial de la FIFA. Perro, Estados Unidos erra el unico que los Ayudo a nosotros en la ultima qualificacion para La Copa Mundial de la FIFA. Si la FIFA podia tar mas puestos/lugares a equipos de la Confederación de Concacaf, para calificar para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA, Canada podia estar en los ultimo face de rumbo para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA, y ayudando a Mexico, con derrotando a equipos, que Mexico necesita que pierdan, y nosotros a derrotar a equipos que Canada necesita que pierdan, para que ellos avanzan en la table de posiciones, en el Rumbo a la Copa Mundial de la FIFA. Lookin forward to the day when teams like Mexico cause major upsets, it's still a long way off if u ask me. The current giants of the game are gonna be hard to catch up with. The 6N teams are constantly getting better but the SH teams still manage to stay a step or two ahead as the game advances. Hopefully the 2016 Olympics kicks ruggers off for these smaller playing nations

They choose players built upon their body types for certain aspects of the game, unlike rugby, which is an all around sport, for each has to be super fit and agile as well as strong, adroit with ball handling and control, running, passing, tackling and scrimmaging. Each player has to perform for the entire length of the game with just a "time out" for half time.

El sábado fui a un torneo de 7's y hubo muchos juegos buenos con jugadores chavitos de 19-20 años hasta señores ya de 40 o 50 años. En sí es popular, sólo hace falta difusión, la gente no lo conoce.

IRB is disappointing. Every qualifying match should be broadcast at least online. How is the game ever going to grow from the usual suspects when no funding or growth is given in the emerging markets. Secondly the there should be at least 32 teams in the finals, this 20 team business also sucks!
Quédate tranquilo, mira como avanzó la calidad de la selección mexicana en tan poco tiempo, tal vez les falta enfrentar ante países un poco mas profesionales como Canadá o estados unidos, pero verás que tan lejos llegará esta selección.
El futbol es el deporte nacional de Mexico... pero es ya un deporte que deja mucho dinero y esta muy "amafiado" y corrupto... el rugby se me hace un deporte interesante... mas que el futbol americano que es un deporte basicamente de gringos nada mas,.. me interesa mas irme por deportes globalizados... y retomando el tema del rugby... me voy a meter mas en conocer sus reglas y seguir partidos... ahorita que esta el mundial en Inglaterra..... y ojala que Mexico puede competir mas en el futuro.. y llegar a un mundial... el detalle es que aqui es un deporte que no tiene tanta pasion ni aficion...(A diferencia de Sudafrica, Australia, Nueva Zelanda)... y por eso a los del $$$ aun no les interesa... si llegara a ser un deporte con mas aficion... igual se volvera corrupto como el futbol...
el rugby en norteamerica no es tan grande :( en Canadá o en los Estados Unidos,muchos no saben lo que es el rugby no hay muchos fans, no hay estadios de rugby,no hay dinero...hablo de los equipos en los ligas de rugby..

It makes no sense matching a country of 100 million with a country of 1 million in a sporting event. large countries (especially modern ones), should be broken up into smaller regions for sporting events.
You do know New Zealand dominates the rugby world with a population of 4.4 million. Population has little, if at all, to do with a team's success on the pitch. It's about the nation's commitment to that sport.

New Zealand has amazing athletic programs and athletic discipline... I am from the states, and we have mediocre to good athletic programs/discipline. but the u.s. will always be able to dominate new zealand in most sports because new zealand does not have enough population to be good in enough sports. what i am saying is new zealand is superior to the u.s. in athletics, but low population will prevent them from dominating the u.s. in most sports. this is a very simple concept.
