The men's circle is such a great idea. I want to do something like that where I am, I'm nervous about how it would be received. I did actually attempt to create a workbook on the 12 steps and spiritual awakening. Started it ten years ago, still not "perfect" lol and that might be holding me back from just doing a circle of some kind. Thanks for this video 🙂

Just a thought on needing some sort of standing to lead a discussion - lots of people learn to teach a subject. They learn the clinic words and the theory but not the experience. You walk the talk. That is a true teacher. We don’t need clinic or formal training on everything. Ages ago we learned from being with our elders (not calling you old) informally and through stories. We sat around tables and ate real food. We were more connected to our community and family.
Wise words! I feel using common sense isn’t so common anymore. Perhaps we should just trust we will know what to do if someone is suffering? A lot of these issues stem from the egos of those who have gone through training and feel threatened by an unqualified person encroaching on THEIR territory. Unfortunately there are already to many who need help for the system capacity. Everything we have created as a society is so damn broken!
Yeah everything's a reflection, I caught myself judging some Christians for being judgmental/instilling fear and then realized I'm literally a hypocrite lol because I'm judging them for not thinking the "right way." Everyone's belief systems serve them in the way they're supposed to. There's no right and wrong or good or bad, we're all exactly where we're supposed to be. Different religions help different people. My belief systems have changed throughout my awakening as well. And I think we know and think what we're meant to know in any given moment. I agree that the religions are incomplete, but I recognize that that's the belief system serves me and that I'm meant to have right now, it's not the truth for everyone. We're all on our own journey and things have to happen that way. The men's circle thing is great I hope that becomes a thing!! You don't look over 40 haha!! And it's beautiful that you have tried the traditional approach to depression and have that experience, though I'm sorry you went through that. I'm sure your perspective will help so many people one day. I also took meds at one point and I agree it all serves a purpose. It numbed me when I needed it and then when I came off of them, all of the emotions got released and contributed to my awakening. I'm curious if you've had experiences with people thinking you're crazy? I'm always worried that people will think that, but I've never actually had that experience. It is really sad that people get hospitalized for this. It almost seems crazier to think we don't live in a spiritual world. My theory about psychosis is that it's when people have an open third eye/crown but are ungrounded/have a blocked root chakra. Totally agree with your thoughts on therapy. Hope I'm not annoying you with my long comments lol
@@Briana-Mars great comment, it’s as if I wrote it! I have said all the things you’ve written at some point in my journey! I was absolutely thought to be crazy when I first awoke, but to be fair I was acting crazy In the eyes of the people around me. There is an issue of discernment between higher beings, not all have our best interests at heart, and knowing the difference is critical. Defending against these things is important as well. RJ Spina talks a lot about this stuff. People don’t come right out and say I’m crazy, at least not to my face but picking up on energy has become a strong ability of mine and I can definitely tell what people are thinking in most situations. What a gift! 😂
