I'm an old user of Adobe products since the beginning of photoshop. I used CS1,2,3 & 4 InDesign for years but never conquered the book layout process and often ran into a clutter of mistakes leading nowhere but into frustration. Until recently, when my fiction book was rejected by a publisher, I used the dreaded MS Word for formatting. Then I purchased the CS6 InDesign and decided to finally conquer the complex field of id layout for printed books.
I have tried many instructions, TH-cam and Google, in three different languages, but nothing was complete and simply put as clear as your series of a book cover and inside text layout. You have done a great service to many of us with your patient and methodical teaching process that even those under age whippersnappers from the elementary schools would be able to compete with me and beat me. At my advanced age, 80, I'm proud to let you know that by following your excellent instructional series, I have completed my first book duly formatted and ready for print using InDesign CS6.
Thank you so much, Euan. God bless you.

I'm SO pleased my videos have helped you Gene Luke Vlahovic! Printing a book you have written is a major achievement, regardless of its acceptance in the market. Although I have been very pleased with the sales of my books over the past two decades, I can tell you that THE most satisfying thing is being able to tell YOUR story YOUR way, regardless of what publishers think (like the one I used to work for as a senior editor). Your family and friends will grow in their appreciation of what you have achieved with every day to come. I wish all my grandparents had written down their best stories to pass down the generations. True family treasure!
