I must respectfully disagree with the previous comments. Physically, the facility is clean, well-built, spacious, and comfortable. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and polite. Let's face it, caring for the elderly-infirm takes a special kind of person and those caregivers are rare. The aids that are hired are no different than you will find in any other senior residential facility in that they are new to this country and are eager to take any job that is offered. The language and cultural differences can make for some awkward moments but, on the whole, The Gables has provided a safe environment and extraordinary care of our elderly and infirm.
Look elsewhere. It may seem nice but they do not pay their aides well and as a result are always short staffed and aides are rude. Food is not too good there. They also raise the prices frequently (mostly because they can't keep residents from moving out once they get the true picture)
