The first one being Osamu Oishi (Mama) & any of the male lesser important characters such as Chinpei Wagai, Takushi Ibarado or Dokuta Yogano. I actually finished the first game days prior to getting NI and put Moma because I genuinely couldn't remember but knew he was shot at the end. I thought the game was gaslighting me.
I finished the first game right when it came out in 2019, hadn't spoiled myself on any trailers for this one, and started playing after having a few edibles and getting really high. I was stuck at this screen for at least half an hour -- didn't want to look up the answer, but I couldn't remember anything specific about the final confrontation or who was there for it except for Aiba blowing up and Saito being a gigantic dick. Tried Date, Iris, Hitomi, So, Boss... nothing. Eventually I convinced myself it had to be Ota who got shot (probably misremembering the polar bear shit in his route), and spent about 10 minutes talking out loud to try and jog my memory of "Skateboard Jimmy's" actual name, only for that to go absolutely nowhere. ...then I tried looking at the boxart, and realized I'd completely forgotten that Mizuki existed. Honestly, pretty fun way to start the game.
my ass did put date cuz i could not for the life of me remember the name saito after 2 years of not playing i did remember mizuki getting shot in the leg tho
Awesome video! I actually played the first game only a bit after AINI came out, so I knew the answers to these right away, but I feel for everyone who played AITSF years ago and had to try to remember who the hell got shot in the leg in that final confrontation.
I literally finished AITSF and had just started AINI just to immediately forget all the answers. Like I knew the answers but I forgot their whole ass names.... and I completely disregarded Mizuki getting shot even though I laughed at her for trying to outrun a gun.... dispite date dodging 3 bullets to "Date, Look! A pornomag!"
Got the Moma one legitimately like others did, I remembered that both him and Mizuki got shot that day but damned if I could remember who got shot where
The amount of streamers I've seen that nearly forgot about Mizuki being injured and instead considering Moma (whether or not they actually entered it) was honestly impressive.

Nothing to be ashamed of, I remembered everyone who was present in the final scene, but I had to check who got shot in the leg because it's such a specific detail... Well, especially for a Yakuza fan, I can't count the number of times Kiryu and Daigo got shot in that series 🤣
Mizuki getting shot was such an irrelevant detail considering all that happened in the final chapter & the fact that she was fine the next time we saw her. They should have asked something memorable like who was held hostage by the killer or what the lie was that Date told Aiba.

Changed but that's because his original VA passed away after the 1st game. If you look at Kagami's entry in the peoples file, they put a little hommage to him.
@@Zeldarulah No, it was changed in the English version. Brad Venable, Kagami's voice actor in the English version, passed away in January of 2021... I'm not sure who voices Kagami in AI:NI, but I saw Billy Kametz's name show up in the voice cast during the credits. It would be quite the coincidence if Billy was Kagami's voice actor in AI:NI, because he passed away just last month.

The game also takes Chinpei, Dokuta, or Takushi - he praises you for knowing an obscure character's name! You can also enter Osamu (Mama's name).
