The civic was torque steering all over his lane and almost wiped out 5 people on the sidelines. The civic did touch the line but never crossed. But also the GTR backed off just in case the civic lost control which he did multiple times. If the GTR just floored it I reckon it would win.
Gtr got scared from the civic torque steering to the left so he anticipated a hard overcorrection to the right potentially getting into his lane, but he never got in his lane nor did he cross the line. This is especially apparent from the Gtr pov cam at 18:12

Civic even slowed down for a few sec not to crash, and still gapped Godzilla. Loved both cars! They passionately built and gave good investments. What a race, Respect both driver and cars.
To be fair, the GTR let off the gas twice. After the civic corrects itself and they both put the pedal to the metal again you see the GTR actually pulling harder than the civic but then the GTR lets off again. Would love to see this race again but gone properly, both cars at full power from start to finish.

Born in the Philippines and also stayed in Thailand for a a few years, saw crazy races like these. Usually what they do is either they run it back or they have races for 3 hits. 1st hit will be chose ur own lane then swap lanes. If it's 1-1, then go back to the original lanes, to hit it one last time. Its how street races in Asia for both motorcycle and cars at times in order not to have fights and confusions. Especially if the bet is quite big as well. Great race though! Keep it up Tai! 💯

this is what i saw ... every GTR has a sweet spot when its launching, if you rush it and dont wait a couple seconds, it will bog, if you wait too long it will bog.. in this situation i think it bogged off the hit causing him to not launch as hard, so the honda got him off the hit .... later the honda did lose a little control causing him to go hard right BUT he did not cross he saved it and stepped on it, the GTR also lost control but he saved it got back in it BUT it was too late ... the honda won ... also for future races DONT STAND PASSED THE STARTING LINE .. THATS HOW PEOPLE GET KILLED .. PUTTING YOUR LIFE IN DANGER FOR SNAPCHAT IS NOT WORTH IT

I don't know how much high speed street racing you have done yourself but when the tires are spinning that bad and then you dump the gas, all kinds of things can happen. Along with all the stuff the other car was doing in his lane. I don't think the majority of normal everyday drivers could've reeled it in with such control and even most silly street racers would have prolly killed a spectator or 3. So in my mind that deserves a GOAT badge.

That Honda LOST!! He crossed and was ALL over the entire road. The GTR was letting off due to the Honda all over the place would’ve gapped him on the big end
Everybody skip to about the 16min mark if you don't want to waste your time. And neither one of them can drive
this is what i saw ... every GTR has a sweet spot when its launching, if you rush it and dont wait a couple seconds, it will bog, if you wait too long it will bog.. in this situation i think it bogged off the hit causing him to not launch as hard, so the honda got him off the hit .... later the honda did lose a little control causing him to go hard right BUT he did not cross he saved it and stepped on it, the GTR also lost control but he saved it got back in it BUT it was too late ... the honda won ... also for future races DONT STAND PASSED THE STARTING LINE .. THATS HOW PEOPLE GET KILLED .. PUTTING YOUR LIFE IN DANGER FOR SNAPCHAT IS NOT WORTH IT

I don't know how much high speed street racing you have done yourself but when the tires are spinning that bad and then you dump the gas, all kinds of things can happen. Along with all the stuff the other car was doing in his lane. I don't think the majority of normal everyday drivers could've reeled it in with such control and even most silly street racers would have prolly killed a spectator or 3. So in my mind that deserves a GOAT badge.
