I hear everyone saying if your respect guanyin then you should avoid beef, should I stop eating beef or is it okay to consume so long as I keep the precepts and bee good in general?
If you are a Guan Yin believer, it is great if you can avoid meat in your diet. In general Buddhist teaching, we do not force anyone to become vegetarian. However, if it is difficult for you to become a vegetarian, you can choose a few days a week, such as Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and weekends. Buddhism promotes veganism. If you ask us, we will still encourage you to become a part-time vegetarian first. Then, gradually, you can transition to being a full-time vegetarian.
If you think of how the animals lived and killed you would not enjoy it at all. I am very sad because I did eat meat before.... But please kindly let me know why eating eggs is so bad..... thanks so much for your kindness.
That is why majority of Buddhist become a vegan. Because if we know how animals been killed, no one will want to eat them, May all of being free from the sufferings, attain the happiness. May Buddha bless all beings. Thanks for watching.

@@GCBPTemple Om Mani Pad Mehum. I am very grateful for your teaching and human compassion 🙏
You can be a Buddhist and eat meat, but you need to realise that meat-eating creates bad karma. Go ahead if you want.
当你发慈悲心之时,我相信,你绝对,不吃肉。不管你是不是佛教徒。
