    My performance grade has gone from 38 to 99 on PC and 98 on mobile.
    Furthermore, my page load time has decreased from 2.61 to 0.85 - 1.51 seconds.
    Absolutely good.
    I hope you make a lot of money! Thanks.

    Great video, Jack! I hope it will help people to see, that the sheer amount of settings in LightSpeed Caching is actually not so bad or scary. They simply enable you to finetune optimization to precisely cover your needs. You will learn as you go :)
    Can I share a few page-speed observations with your viewers?
    1)
    In order to avoid lazy loading images above the fold, you can go to LightSpeed > Page Optimization > Media Excludes > Lazy Load Image Excludes. Enter the URL for each image here, one line each. Find each URL in the Media Library and simply copy/paste it. It works well for images, logos and larger icons (jpg, webp, svg...). Not only will your page load faster. You will also get rid of flickering of images or logos when the page is loading.
    2)
    I've tried many combos of optimization plugins and CDN's. But LiteSpeed Caching and Cloudflare CDN is hands down the best combo I've seen for page optimization. You can even empty Cloudflare's cache or temporarily pause Cloudflare directly from within LiteSpeed Caching. Very handy timesaver!

    I love your videos. You explain everything so clearly. I have litespeed cache on an openlitespeed server with cloudflare dns, so with my 4GB site I see that I will be able to speed things up on my site so much better now that you've shown me what settings do what, why i need to have them or why I may not. You took a pretty complicated topic and broke it down so that a site owner like me can understand without taking a course. Actually, your videos are perfect for a busy business owner like me because it's like a minicourse/problem solving tutorial all in one. Thank you for all the information you provide! Please don't stop.

    Amazing tutorials and I must say your strong southern accent is getting better. You mentioned you also had Autoptimize installed, obviously lots of conflict can happen there, so what are you using it for exactly because I have Autoptimize and cache enabler working together on 1 site.
    I also use A2 and thought about just changing all sites to Litespeed and possibly add Autoptimize. All my sites are small and I generally re-optimize every site every 6 months because improvements are always coming out.
    I've watched tones of your videos and I must say you are really good at this stuff. The only thing I would like to see more of is actually building a full site without page builders of course. Eventually all page builders like (Elementor) are dying because speed is becoming a bigger deal every day. Thanks for all the solid work bro and keep working on that southern drawl.

      Yes you can, but I do not see the reason why. Cloudflare can only cache static assets while Quic.cloud that comes with the LS Cache, allows you to cache both static and dynamic assets.

    what if you are on woocommerce? the cacheing screws everything up

    • @JackCao
      @JackCao  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Test, Test, and Test! If caching screws up the site, try to figure out which is the setting. The thing is, ecommerce sites use dynamic elements, and it is hard to properly cache them. So, I would recommend that you turn off all the settings (especially the CSS and JS settings), and try turning the settings on 1 at a time. Every setting you turn on, make sure that you clear your server and browser cache, and then test your live site. If your site breaks or any functions do not work, you've gotten keep that particular setting off.

    Hi Jack, thank you for this tutorial, I was wondering if you could help me out a little cause I installed Litespeed Cache and started optimizing my images but then stopped the process cause I noticed the server was filling up. I eventually removed the original files since I saw that the optimized files were also good but my server was still signaling too many files... so I went and took a look at the files in my Cpanel and I noticed that for each image now I have even more than 10 different versions with different sizes!! Does Litespeed cache generate these different versions? How can I check if all of these sizes are really needed in my website and eventually clean up what's unnecessary? Thank you so much if you find time to help me out! 🙂

    • @JackCao
      @JackCao  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think this is due to several reasons. 1. Your default WordPress settings automatically create different versions of an image you upload. In this case, you need to go to your WP dashboard >> media settings >> and set all sizes to 0. 2. Your theme automatically creates multiple versions of an image. You might want to check with your theme developer to see if it is the case, and if yes, request for them to fix it. 3. LS cache creates a separate optimized version of your image so that your pages will load faster. If you find that it is bloating up your server, you may want to turn off the image optimization settings. Hope this helps.

    • @ytuser392
      @ytuser392 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JackCao Thank you so much for your quick reply!! I will definitely check those options and I just contacted the theme developers. So usually Litespeed Cache is only creating a second optimized version of the images not many different sizes right? Just to try and understand what generated those copies

      I've applied the settings to a shared host called a2 hosting because it uses a litespeed server. There are some shared hosts using litespeed servers, you may want to ask your current host if they are using Litespeed server.
