LP4 is going to be so good man… they played a couple of these in falmouth and it was genuinely the best night of my life. Glad i can hear them again :)
Also Im going to a Godspeed gig in 2 months, any tips for recording the gig? I have a canon EOS 650D but I just don’t know if I should do something for better lighting or idk
I'm trying so hard to like these new songs. But they changed a lot, what they are making is beautiful for sure, but it doesn't connect with me. It's hard to explain and sad to see that the group I once adored is growing apart from me. Thanks for recording and uploading it!
@@twigthecheese6462 I don't think BCNR fans mind people saying they don't enjoy the new music as much, but if the only thing someone has to say is that BCNR should go back to what they used to do, then that's a different thing. They make the music they love and that's what's important.
i actually prefer the music a lot more now seems more natural for them given there folk/ classical backgrounds yet still some rocky elements which is satisfying
Completely agree. Most of the new songs just feel like they are shooting for pastoral but land on saccharine instead. At this point I'm not even mad about them shedding the post-punk skin (although I do miss it, Sunglasses beat my ass like a drum when I first heard it,) Ants From Up There balanced theatrics with genuine emotion (or do I say angst) and impressive songwriting with relative immediacy perfectly, but what they are doing now just feels... staged. It's like chamber rock for Disney adults. I'm genuinely sorry I feel this way, they came and went really quick when it comes to my personal hall of fame, but their impact on me was tremendous in more ways than one. It sucks that I don't think I'm even going to like their next album all that much.
I feel like they are two separate groups, much like Joy Division/New Order. Personally I prefer New Order and BCNR post-Isaac but I still like Joy Division and the first two BCNR albums.
Baroque Country, Newsom Road
We're so back
New album will be wild.
BUSH HALL COUNTS
These 6 are simply miraculous. The group harmonies on Geese are so wonderful
For the cold country and Nancy tries to take the night are tied for best post Isaac song for me right now. Incredible
Also have to say. Great video!
I love seeing georgia sing in BCNR
I SEE YOU DRIVING ROUND TOWN WITH THE GIRL I LOVE, AND I'M LIKE, FORGET YOUUUU
oh we are sSO back
sounds much better when you can hear all the instruments and not just drums and guitar like on the other recording i'd heard
i really like the theatrical post rocky feeling of Socks, it kinda seems it encapsulated all eras of the band in a way
loving the new stuff so hard!!!
YEAH BABY.
Georgia's here and we have harmonies.
I'm so hyped it's not healthy.
I’m in love with these songs, they’re incredible! Cannot fucking wait for them to be officially released.
I’ll love this band forever, this is way too good.
I love them so much I think I'm gonna cry
I heard this for the first time the other night and shit KILLED me I'm so not tapped in with the unreleased stuff I was so surprised
Been to this venue many times, got to say BCNR brought amazing soundcheck team here!
Sound quality is really something, even better than a lot of your other recordings! This sounds like an album!
The sound engineer did well at this show!
socks ughhhhhhh so good so good
Oh I’ve been waiting for this one
Thanks for the video! Great quality! 😊
we're so back that we never even left!

adjusting the light relevant settings while waiting and in the gaps between songs, if the lights change a lot, set it darker rather than lighter
I’m so jealous, hopefully you get a good video of GYBE!!
fucking epic
🤯
May's become the MC
I personally really liked Cold Country and Geese and Socks is good(probably be better to here it relized in the studio)

I feel the same way, sadly you can’t even say you’re opinion without getting slandered by Bcnr fans.
