Aside of how great Emmy is: This is my favorite of her bands. These guys were so experimental and talented. And anything she does with Buddy Miller is awesome. What a great musician he is!!
32:30.......makes the hair on your neck stand up, that haunting intro . My fave song of hers. THANK YOU THANK YOU for this video!!!! I have been searching for a long time, this is the only known footage from that tour with this line up! I had the live album, but never saw footage. This confirms what I heard. The bass player is also playing the "Moog Taurus pedals" SICK! This was a killer lineup of musicians. Well, thanks. This songs for you mom.
I can’t imagine there exists a more beautiful, poignant version of Calling My Children Home than this one. I don’t have children, but this song hits me hard, thinking of the people I love who aren’t close by.
That's just crap, a talented woman like Emmylou should never retire as long as she can sing good, which is,... You have to check your facts straight before you put someone in an old chair, close to the wastebasket....Shame you... F.. ck.!!!
Heartwrenching voice is more like it. She's only in her early 50's here. You might be able to say that these days. I think she's 77. Still love listening to her, though.
My god…those people got the show of a lifetime 👍
Her voice brings me to tears. Tears of joy and sorrow.
Emmylou is my angel ❤
what is not to love about this woman. what an exceptional talent. never tire of listening to her. takes the word talented to a new level.
This is gold! Great production work to make this video of a fantastic show, Emmylou and Spyboy at Exit/In, 2208 Elliston Place, Nashville, Tennessee.

the band is excellent. hard driving rockers. love it!
Buddy sure can rock!!
Great find!!!
As far as I am concerned Emmylou can perform as long as she is willing and able.
Saw her on Wednesday in Shipshewana at the age of 77, she still has it. Beautiful lady of grace and beauty.
respect à la grande Dame
This is great! But, any chance you can edit the title
to get the band name right? The band was called Spyboy.
power finesse heavenly thanks
Spyboy, geez.
I get that "spybar" may be some sort of phonetic equivalent, but the band deserves the respect of the name it chose: Spyboy.
must have a fucking buzz performing with her
Times now
buddy!!
The band is SPYBOY. SPYBOY!
@Jazzfromhell
Your English is incorrect. Please correct the title from "Spybar" to *Spyboy or Spionagejunge!*
Umm. That would be Spyboy.
Her elderly voice says pease it is time to retire from the stage
