Kalani always seemed so annoyed with him and now that we know he cheated multiple times and she was still mad about the first time for several years, I can see this was actually a resentment more than it was being annoyed at him. It makes sense.
yeah but its like after a while, you can't even feel bad for kalani, she jumped into this head first and got hurt? Like at first I felt bad thinking its the first time he ever cheated but now knowing its not, its like Kalani had every reason and opportunity to leave yet doesn't but also doesn't want to work it out (mind you, she was betrayed so its conflicting emotions there). I believe she may still want her children's father but will never be able to fully forgive him for that betrayal. Also my thing with Asuelu is why you mad Kalani slept with someone when you been messing around, like just bc you met her as a virgin doesn't mean shes yours without condition tf. They're both so darn toxic and just stay together. Even one on this show overstays their welcome in relationships. But I agree that now I can more easily understand why she is this angry, maybe if it was just once, she could say it was a mistake but its clearly a pattern of behavior.

As a child of European immigrants, I can relate. While I was growing up, I didn't get the best grades, and my mother, in her frustration, kept asking me, "Why can't you be like X?" X would be one of my peers that was a 4.0 student and going to a nice college. Some parents, as well-meaning as they are, simply don't know how to cope with a child that isn't meeting their expectations. In turn, they turn to things like comparison, and that could be a huge problem for some people.

I feel really sorry for Kalani, she has been sacrificing her own needs for the sake of her kids and family, but she deserves to be happy too. If she is happy, her kids are going to feel that too and know they deserve to be happy and make those right choices. Asuelu needs to spend a lot of time alone and in therapy to outgrow that inner trauma and find out what caused that arrested development and hatred towards women (probably his relationship with his mum and sisters) before getting forgiveness just to repeat the cycle and do the same thing and hurt people again!

This is why it is famously said by Mya Angelou, “when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” Ansuelu cheated from the dating period. He showed that from the start that he didn’t value monogamy and/or he wasn’t ready as the reporter stated in the video. Grieving the end of a relationship, before kids are involved, is definitely less complex than dealing with an unfaithful spouse (who is also the father of your children). Once again, Kalani needs to learn when to just accept when Ansuelu shows his true colors and stop believing that he will consistently do better. She shouldn’t write it off as a momentary character flaw, because that moment has passed and has shown to be an ongoing struggle!
Yara’s Mom was living through her. That’s why she pushed for perfection from her. I had a parent do the same to me.
I can testify for Molly's demeanor when it comes to her comforting, reassuring nature towards her customers. Took my slightly insecure, young teeny-bopper Daughter into LiviRae couple yrs ago for custom fitting. Molly was perky, naturally kind & generous with her attention, easy experience beginning to end.

5:17 cheating doesn't depend on age. People cheat or not. Compassion is developed early in life. If a person don't care about hurting someone at 23, they won't care later in life. We aren't talking about failed marriage because spouses didn't equally share responsibilities because they've never run home before. We talk about cheating that we learn of early in life. There are different types of cheating and everybody was betrayed once in their by for example friends. Not cheating doesn't come with age but is a basic social construct that comes from compassion and respect. We really all learn about it very early in life. Btw, who in their right mind would have intimate relations with Ansuelu? He seemed to be a sensitive and lovely person but that was it. I can't imagine anybody seeing him and having a credible reason to get frisky with him. I understand Kalani, she didn't know him, he seemed but and innocent. one time when I was about 16 years old, I overheard my mom telling my little sister (who was 11) "not to pull her pants up so high because it's making her lower belly protrude like her sister" (me). I was ENRAGED. NOT because of her referring to me, but because she was saying it to my little sister who was so impressionable. It was WWIII that day, I confronted her and told her she was WRONG and had NO business saying something like that to such a sensitive and VULNERABLE little girl like my sister. My dad came home mid-meltdown and despite never having witnessed him calling her narcissist ass out in her overly-critical ways, he DID that day. He told her she had no business saying anything like that to her, and especially at her age. He was pissed. My dad had always been complacent with and submissive to my mom...until that day. She was quiet and stood corrected, and I finally felt not only validated but it was clearly an important moment in my life that has stuck with me to this day (now 33). I now have a husband who makes not a single remark about my weight and always makes sure to compliment me and tell me he loves me the way that I am. I'm very grateful for having called her out like that, she stopped criticizing my sister as much as she used to, and my little sister's the most fit in my family now. BY CHOICE rather than out of insecurity.

kalani really is a ride or die cause i woulda rode my happy ass up outta that relationship. she’s strong idk if i could take that. like i’m the same way in any relationship once you hurt me…mentally i just shut down so i really understand her disconnect with him 😫
