Hard Feelings is an under-rated album. It's definitely their "lightest" album, but the album is really good.

Yo man, you should check out "Life" by Devin Townsend. Definitely a lot less heavier but the best way I've seen it described, it's the kind of feel good song you hear in an early 2000's teen movie that assures you everyone got laid at the end.

I am not a fan of their new sound tbh... to me the perfect BTF sound is in their “Hollow Bodies” album. A perfect mix of heaviness and melody. But this tendency to make the sound more radio friendly is something that taints more and more bands I used to listen. Asking Alexandria, A Day To Remember, Blessthefall, etc. Grew up,with these bands and now it’s sad they changed their sound to a completely different one.

They are Christian as far as their individual faith and beliefs. Use to be considered a Christian band, but went away from that label.
@Benny Yeah, sort of. They were definitely different. Like, His Last Walk was super Christian, then Witness was and wasn't, then Awakening was super Christian as well. They kind of followed that pattern a bit.
@Benny Oh definitely man, and I definitely think that's why a lot of people were thrown off by Witness a lot. Because "What's Left of Me" is lowkey a "worship" song when you go and pay attention to the lyrics, but it gets ruined with "To Hell & Back" when they throw in that "bitch" a couple of times. I still love em tho. Top 10 favorite band of all time. However, I do HATE His Last Walk. It's horrible. And anyone trying to say that it's still their only good album or their best, are idiots and need to go continue to listen to Escape the Fate. Lmao
It definitely was a weird pattern. One that broke with the release of To Those Left Behind. They're such an odd band. And it's funny because, Beau I believe has known to get pissed off sometimes when people call them a Christian band. Like, there are interviews of the band from the His Last Walk days, openly admitting to be a Christian band. What's Left of Me & The Reign are pretty much worship songs. Like, pick a lane y'all. Lmao
