@@lovelorn88nick yeah I have an xbox, ps5 and switch my xbox is digital only since you rarely get the game on the actual disc. Even series X only game discs might only have some of the game since Series X games are on 50 gig blu-rays unlike ps5 which uses 100gb UHD blu-rays
I know it's cause the Switch Case is small but I find it weird Gerald's Journal is a little booklet for switch but for Xbox and PlayStation it's a decently sized book

I do hope that the digital deluxe content is available as a separate purchase for people like me who want it physically. It seems that it will be since it says you can upgrade to the digital deluxe version. While it's nice, so that people wouldn't have to buy it twice if they went for physical copies first, I wish everything was available in the standard edition without having to pay extra.
For those unaware Dr.Eggman is the name of the series antagonist but from Sonic (1991) to Sonic Adventure (1999) he was called Dr. Robotnik internationally. This changed with Sonic Adventure where in the game Sonic jokingly refers to him as Eggman thereby establishing a consistent name across all titles to come. With that said it's rather interesting that Gerald Robotnik was the name used for Dr. Eggman's grandfather in Sonic Adventure 2 across all releases, considering the name Robotnik was only used outside of Japan until then.
A little late comment but here in the U.S., he was referred to as Robotnik but in Japan, he was Eggman from the beginning. I even remember friend saying one of his computers had Eggman on it in Sonic 2.

There are ways to get a physical PS4 copy. You can either import a PS4 copy from a foreign country like Japan, or pay for the collector's edition which costs hundreds of dollars.

So in USA you probably have to buy the collector's edition (250 dollar?). I don't know if physical PS4 games are region locked. If - not - you can buy the PS4 version physically from UK or any other country in Europe.
