For those who do not understand power to weight ratio, Stefanie's DL was 412% of her bodyweight. To put things in perspective, for WSM Brian Shaw to match Stefanie's DL percentage he would have to DL 1800lbs. Consider the reality of his PR is around 1014, or about 250% bodyweight. Eddie Hall's WR DL of 1100lbs was only about 270% of his bodyweight. This is F-ing crazy! Well done Stef!!!
Dead lifts are about the worst lifts to go by P4P cause the starting point of the bar stays the same bring shorter will always give you a much better P4P deadlift but its a very impressive lift just a bad way to compare it be similar if you made her do atlas stones and raise the stones as high as brian shaw does which would not work cause she would basically be forced to overhead press them .

I do not understand competition squatting. Mainly because the lifter has to get under the bar, and then walk backwards, and reset their feet. And so for a fraction of a second, that entire 800 pounds (or whatever) is going through 1 leg. You would think theyd have a rack (similar to the one shes squatting in) where she just gets under the weight, lifts up, and then the supports swing away from her. That way she doesnt have to walk the weight out.
If you want to Squat that weight you should be able to walk it, that's a thing of core stability, if you're not able to walk it 1 step back then you most lilkely will not have the stability in your core to safely squat it so it actually makes sense to have the walkout in competition. It's, in additon, way easier to walk it back than to squat it, so that should not really be a problem

That total is probably 8x her body weight and you got guys that have record totals at probably just over 4x body weight being that they weigh400+ lbs..this here is real strength

the strength difference between upper body and lower body from women is always strange. Her dl and squats blows me aways, but her bench isn't as impressed (of course very good..but compared to dl and squats)
@@meanman7302 What he's trying to say is that the ratio between the 3 lifts usually goes something like this - 225 bench, 315 squat, and a 405 deadlift, or if you're a bit more advanced, something like a 315 bench, 405 squat, and 495 deadlift is going to be where you're at. Ofcourse everyone is different, and some people obviously have better leverages for certain lifts but 90% of the time men won't go too far off from these numbers. Now Steph is a great example of the fact that women are build differently, meaning she has a ~405 squat and a ~495 deadlift, but she's still 'stuck' at a 225 bench press, whilst most men with the same deadlift and squat would have a much strong bench (around say 315)
The reaction from her when she pulled that last lift was awesome, that look of realization that all her hard work and dedication played off. Loved it✊
