I met him when we were young lads at a basketball camp. Different world. He dominated entire courts, gyms, stadiums in NZ, and was a good bugger the whole way. He is a national icon and a hero to hundreds of thousands over here.

He is easy to play with, shows undeniable respect and loyalty to those who deserve it. He is the perfect player in terms of Glue Guy. Does all the dirty business, does’t complain, and is always open for any role he needs to play.
