@@StatesMusic no, but some people are more avoidant of certain topics. she feels comfortable enough to openly talk about topics such as sex, whereas not everyone would be comfortable elaborating that much about it

tbh this is pretty normal for Asian kids. My mom beat the shit out of me with my dad's leather belt when I was a kid and I had to kneel on either rock salt or uncooked Mung beans for 2 hours. Not saying its a good thing but her story seems pretty mild from a fellow Asians perspective. Her mom lying about where she went to school and worked is kinda wild tho.
I can totally feel her. Even though she shows she's all happy and chill, am sure there would be times when she would be crying like anything.
Because family is something we turn back to when things dont work out. But if someone's family is broken, its hard to survive in the world.

When I grew up and could take my moms beatings, she'd tell on my dad so my dad could hit me instead. There was a time they let me stay over at a friends house, when I came home they beat me because I stayed there past 5am, they expected me to come home by 5am at a sleep over lol

The parachute is in the US to at the elementary level back in the 80s and 90s and early 2000s. I have no idea about now though.

I’m from the US. We also played with the parachute. It’s a classic gym activity for very young kids. But not actually a game (you’re not competing).
You all stand around and hold on to the edges. Like holding a sheet with someone when trying to make the bed? Sometime they throw balls in the middle and all the kids flap it, so the balls jump and bounce. Like a popcorn machine.
The big finale (the picture) is you all together flap the parachute up then run under and sit on it (the edges on the ground). It balloons up like a tent, and lasts as long as you hold the air in. It’s fun for kids. 🤷♀️😊👍
we did the parachute in Physical Education in Ireland too
