first and foremost hire the driver that delivered the car, then recoup all trans fees and mileage on svj, anything further is a waste of time and becomes personal
I'd never be in that situation... Because I will never own a Lambo svj
Props to the driver and co-driver that delivered the SVJ back to you. They seem like stellar transporters compared to the knucklehead that stole it.
They were very genuine and professional! Nothing but good words to say about them 👍
Royalty, try to use them next time you need a transport or hire one of them to drive one of your trucks.
I mean I understand that people struggle and cane afford it but man stealing is the worst way you can do he could have even asked the guy to drive he would have probably agreed but what he did was wrong

It's a good thing you guys are on the up and up. With less than reputable types, this type of action used to and could still result in the thief disappearing, going for a non consensual field trip to an undisclosed location for some baseball practice where he's the ball.
Please name the transport company so those of us who move our cars all the time *DON'T* ever use them.

"Here's photos and videos with metadata proving the vehicle was being driven while here's an invoice stating it should have been delivered a week prior and here's the shipping agreement... This proves a history of deceit and proves the statement "transport stole and joyrides the SVJ" true and thus not actionable based on the standards for libel/slander"

I operate a heavy wrecker and see some messed up shady shit in the trucking industry. I just had a call to lift a piece of equipment off the interstate after it fell off the trailer and the broker tried to not tell the customers.

Flew from Clevland to Vages for spring break and stopped by to say hi, it was my first time seeing these cars in person and it was a bit overwelming and all I have to say is you guys are amazing. be very careful who you use in Florida because I bought a Jaguar XKR convertible and the dealer I bought it from sent me the documents I needed including pictures of the odometer and a mileage authentication form and set up transportation as part of the price. Well lets just say it took 2 days longer to deliver it from Florida to Mass than it was supposed to and when they dropped the car off it had 500 more miles on it than what was on it at the dealership. The top had clearly been opened and closed and they had left the passenger side window partially open allowing rain to fill the door pocket. I spoke with the dealer who gave me a number to call for the transportation company and of course they denied everything and said it was impossible for their driver to have put that kind of mileage on the car and I kept asking why was it impossible if he had the car for an extra 2 days and was out joy riding it instead of delivering it. My car has no where near the value of yours but you trust people you are doing business with to be honest and do the right thing. I will honestly say I put some blame on the dealer I bought it from because he arranged the transport as part of the price of the car so he sought the cheapest means to get it hauled and did nothing as far as complaining about what happened - - he got his money and I got my car and he made no attempt to make it right or even advocate for me with the transport company he hired
What the Hell!!!! At least the 2 new drivers were upstanding and got the car back

Make a royalty transport if your cars need to be transported somewhere you'll have it covered and if other cars in the area need to be transported to a location close to you could make money off of it as well. Maybe something to look into!

The more moving parts you have, the more issues you can run into. Thats just normal business. Theres plenty of car rental stories out there. Rob Spaghetti also tells a bunch of them. Just seems be common in that line of business for shady stuff to go down. In Germany we have a saying, opportunity makes thiefs. Having these high value super cars simply brings a bunch of people that either want to steal them or take advantage of situations like the transport and so on and ofc course accidents that are much more meaningfull when something goes wrong like the sto crashing. You dont hear about sixts 800th golf crashing simply cause thats just common cars. But just cause its the supercar business, doesnt eliminate those issues.

I think they make customers use their insurance for claims instead of using the companies whenever possible. Huston commented on it a while ago and said something along the lines of that.
