However, Dota is intricate, encompassing various scenarios such as playing from a disadvantage, leading, or maintaining a neutral stance. Factors include the enemy's aggression, map control, and more.
This helps so much for carries who gets LH of 30 by 10 mins and cries that there is no space and gets outfarmed by opponent supports. Thank you for this analysis. 🙏
One thing I rlly like abt yatoro’s gameplay is he knows when to give up the safelane tower, so that he doesn’t burden his team to commit tps to protect him and they can apply pressure on more important parts of the map
since i've learned his farming pattern i always won a game as a carry 😂 first ocassion i'm using easy heroes such as juggernaut, sven and then i use more complicated heroes like pl, tb, and morph. even tho i don't have a decent team, his farm pattern is really useful.
@@ahmadrafimuzakki4124 his farming pattern is gd but i also admire his understanding of various carries' job and map-reading, i rmb during ti10 even if he plays these simple heroes like sven his map movements were very impactful
@@mechanicalhelios8321 yeah it's not just farming patterns that make Yatoro great, I know it sounds cliché but his ability to adapt to situations in sync with his teammates make Team Spirit such a scary team if you let them play their game.

Really nice vid! Would love to see a version of this looking at how the best mids move around the map in winning/losing situations. When to farm, when to gank etc.!
Absolutely love this vid, started to apply this to my own games picking up Luna and almost every single game I am now top NW, I am able to make strong comebacks from a failed lane (thanks to your other video as well), and I am able to get myself into a comfortable spot even playing from behind.
Hey man great content as always, i would love more breakdowns on yatoros playstyle , laning , farming , itemization, fighting anything really since he's so good
I remember seeing his Dota round as Luna carry, the enemy was 5-28 in min 18, Yatoro's team lost all lanes, yet they still won. (In late game advantage since Enigma was his ally.)
Excellent video! "If the lane went poorly, that's on you!" Would love a video about how to fix this issue, as a pos1 we often rely a lot on supports but how can I recognize what to do better and how to give myself a better lane instead of having a poorer one? In this video Mag is left alone so early he can afford this, but that rarely is the case in my games where the lane (or maybe I don't win lanes enough for it to happen?). If everything that allows a carry to get ahead starts from the lane, definitely would love a video about this asap so we can improve :) Thanks Khezu!
Keep it up, just subbed. I am a bit hesitant to comback after 10+ years of playing Dota 2, a lost has changed like a LOT. quite overwhileming tbh, still in the fence if I'll back but I enjoy watching content like this!
Great video! Would love to see more pos1 content like this, it feels like most D2 content is based around team fights and individual skill rather than efficient strategies
I am not keen on writing a comment and even hesitate to do it in Eng, but you have been absolutely deserved to have a bigger audience by the work done for us. If someone was blaming you as a worst player for a very long time, no you have found a key to be on top of dota2 content on youtude
Thank you Maurice for the content. Can you please provide a similar concept of what is the most efficient area to invade from camp or lane creeps for this offlane meta? I am atm 5,3K mmr in EU and sometimes i feel i am either too aggressive and end up getting caught by 4 man rotation or am too passive and they rotate on mid/my safe lane. Cheers!
Great idea! I'll make this one of my next priorities to provide something similar for all roles! Good luck in your games (be careful who is showing on the map, and try to check if you can give yourself better lane positioning by using the hardcamp)
Btw I think laning from different perspectives can be good content. For example when you're strong in the offlane, or weak on the safelane, etc. I guess it's not so easy to create content, but positioning, when to smoke gank, or how important are certain objectives (for example yatoro prioritized pushing mid in this video: why?) in regards to the current game state. I loved the draft videos so those can keep coming if you have memorable games in your mind. Sadly I'm not an expert on what brings the views, but those are interesting topics for me.
Great content big dog. Can you make a video on how to farm/itemize when you're playing pos 1 and you have a farming mid as well? i.e when your mid is alchemist, or TA, or someone who doesn't make space in a conventional sense. definitely struggling with this part of my game. but thannks to you I just reached 6400 mmr!! LOVE YOU BIG BRO
Khezu has grown so much on me as a talent. Also loving this content. Regarding yatoro, i think it's almost impossible to show what insane map awareness he has. I think him and miracle on his prime are the hardest players of all time to gank on pro games. I know because those two crushed my Chinese fanboy heart 💔😂 keep it up Khezu!
Now please do one for support roles cause obviously I play support and efficiency of support duo matters a lot in these days of Dota, like GG supp duo. Great content. TYSM
In the first game, in fact, far from the best actions were shown, for some reason the enchantres left the lane in order to stack triple and at the same time Magnus, like the luna, was in full freefarm on a line that he could not stand, it was necessary to push with enchantres tower in the bot, move to the top and, together with the offlaner, break the top, and then farm triple + lane.
Thank you khezu, this by far the most educative dota 2 video I’ve seen within months, although most of us already know but these are what we need to see in TH-cam, others are just like “how to drink a cup of water and why”
Problem is that most players including myself realises there is a ton of farm in the game but you almost always miss it or realise it 4-5 mins later.Like I lost a game today because my mid kept farming mid where the jungle was free and I had treant which means I farm so slowly and I needed those creep waves. But ofc he didn’t care about that
This was one of the best and most informational video I have watched on Dota, definitely got a sub from me and I can't wait to dive into some more videos.
Nice vid, BUT it shows a situation where he has a free lane. In my games usually there are 2 vs 1 carry, pos5 support is 0/5 feeding on the other side of the map, and enemy mid player ganking the carry basically nonstop. Welp, some loosing game turned into winning one would be interesting, too.
Thats too many excuses in one comment (no offense to you) If you are being 2v1'd then dont start with variation 1, but go with 2. If the mid is missing, start with variation 3 where you need to be very safe There are a frw comments saying 'he had a free lane' which isnt wrong, but it doesnt change the concept. It just means he can start with variation 1. You always have to consider what you see and how the game is going. But i will make videos with harder scenarios and also losing lanes! Hope that helps
Kazoo, one really important question that often arises - how and when do you decide to shove the lane into the tower (so enemy Pos 3 farms as well) and when do you keep the lane static? Is there a universal formula to it? If you're having a good lane, keeping it static would destroy the enemy's Pos 3's game, but will hamper your own farm too as you wouldn't accelerate as much like Yatoro here did.
I think as a carry you generally want to keep YOUR own farm your priority. If you can slowdown the enemy while doing so that's great. Basically there are 2 variations to your question. You always want to use a pushed wave for a purpose. Either to farm or pressure. 1) you play a flashfarmer like luna ta sven, just push in the lane and farm. 2) you play a lane dominating hero who can pressure more and you dont have the best farming speed (abaddon, naix etc), these heroes prefer using a pushed wave to pressure when possible.
I liked your video very much. Its always nice to listen when a pro player with big experience explains some tricks. keep doing the same stuff, as a supp player i would ask more tips about pos 4/5
Pls keep making pos 1 videos, i would like to see a video about items, how to itemize better, what items should i buy etc. Ty for the content, really helpfull
Can you make a video on how to farm with aggressive, tempo mid heroes like Ember spirit, who have to create plays. When I play pos 1 I am able to catch the average gpms for my bracket and even higher brackets, since I know I should focus only on that, and search for a fight only on certain item timings. But when I play mid ember I fall out a lot.
