    Nice bird and almost a good landing. These vids on what NOT to do are more helpful than the no-crash vids IMHO. Knowing how a bird reacts to things like flaps, gear down, in normal flight is helpful. In a tail-heavy situation like this, knowing if the nose will pitch up or down when flaps are deployed, can make the difference in whether or not to use them. Gotta keep up speed in a tail-heavy bird, with special attention on the turns. Goosing the throttle could also pitch the bird up into a stall or twist it to one side if it's a big prop. I found being gentle in tail-heavy situations might help you might get it back on the ground in one piece.

    I'm surprised as of this writing no one has jumped on you about the CG. A lesson learned but with only minor damage. To bad you guys don't have a paved runway.

      No need to "Jump on the C.G." that's self correcting 😜 when you go pick up the pieces. I knew the risks of moving the C.G. 👍

    You took off into the wind then landed the f16 the opposite direction going with the wind. Maybe this helped add to the stall. Oh well it happens to the best of us.

    Hey man she’s a tough bird in my opinion. I’ve only flown mine a handful of times. I’m glad she’s fixable!

    It happens, which version is this? This seems like a bird that needs that 8s setup, what do you think?

      it's the 6S version with the high Performance FMS EDF system and 150 amp esc..the field was soggy wet and I noticed that debris was all sucked in the EDF unit.

    I love how everyone becomes Captain Hindsight when someone else crashes! Always hilarious. You should have blah, blah, blah. LMFAO!

      Sure your right, but with time in the hobby you learn. And for me, I did hear a few red flags. And due to my mistakes I try to listen to my red flags and don't fly if that's the case.

    You definitely should have reinforced the nose at least! On the meeting you should have kept it short leaving sometime for going around to get a better position. I definitely would have reversed the pattern so you are not losing air speed at the wrong time.

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not an viable option for a tail heavy airplane this time. I Havent heard much on nose gear reinforcements for this F16 but will definitely look into it,glad it broke they way it did. $14.00 in parts and I'm back up.

    Gotta love 9 blade Fans.....great for TOP END SPEED but useless at low-midrange thrust to get you off the ground....i literally throw them in the trash and put a decent 12 blade in. I dont need 200mph lol
