- Lets take a look at the Utah Hockey Club 's first season jerseys! Are they good? Are they bad? they are bad... but we knew that was gonna happen lets be real. Hopefully they don't screw up on their actual jerseys next season.

I know I’m in the VAST minority, but I really like both of these
I think the striping is weird, but I like the colors.
Better to say Utah as a word mark rather than Hockey Utah Club. Reckon this will be the future alternate, although perhaps with inverted colours.
The colour combination for the home is pretty sweet. It could have done with a bit more of the blue, somehow, so it doesn't drown out because of the black.
Honestly,this style of hockey sweaters reminds me of the Utah Jazz Uniform After The 2002/03 nba season
I want Fanatics to keep the rounded collars. But get rid of the goofy half stripe that randomly vanishes on the home set shown in this. And move the shield somewhere else. Or make the shield so it doesn't have to go on top of an extra piece of fabric that fucks up the collar striping. That panel cuts off the thin blue striping on the home set. And it bugs me. I don't like it when the striping doesn't meet.
Congrats hockey, you have your Utah Jazz of the NHL. All the way down to the location and jerseys.
I know the NHL jerseys are gonna be made at the current Adidas factory in Montreal, but what about the Fanatics comparable jerseys to the Current Adidas authentic retails that were made in Indonesia, where are the comparable retail Fanatics jerseys going to be made?
I presume the same place since the pricing is the same.
i think the first season they gone very plain as possible heard they are said to be keeping the colors and maybe the black is a feeler to see if fans want that or the blue as the main home jersey when they get a name . for what they are they are ok but need to see the whole look before i judge them

That was debunked like a few hours after he uploaded it. If you go on his twitter he said the Wild reached out to him saying thats not true

I know it is just a temporary name and temporary jerseys, too... but I cannot stand the diagonal wordmark. Should have been horizontally written. Or as you showed us, that concept would have been better. Or not have the big blue and two surrounding stripes going all the way to the sides of the jersey. Have it just have that wordmark design logo placed on the front. My gut feeling is that not many fans outside of their fan base will want to buy these boring jerseys.
Diagonal or horizontal is equally horrible to me. Trash is still trash no matter how it's taken to the dumpster. This isn't baseball. Put some effort into how you present yourself. Act like you care about your product.
Given they're just a placeholder kit, they don't have to be memorable IMHO. However, Neil from Post2Post made an excellent point... they're going to be a Collector's Item because 2024/25 is the only Season they'll be around.
They'll definitely be a collectors item, the question is how many collectors will actually want it, haha. I'm torn on getting one because I would like to have a Utah jersey in case I talk about them, and I wouldn't mind to have it in that collectors item sort of way. But also I don't know if I really care that much to spend money on them lol
I guess he's seeing something I'm not then. I would never value something this terrible even if rare or only worn for a year.
My fear is they keep this rubbish around as an alternate next year so fans don't feel ripped off buying something only worn for a year. I don't even want to see this pile of waste for one game.
I like the home and away separately, but they don’t match each other. I don’t like sets that don’t match each other, like the Stars, Canadiens, Flames, etc. But individually they are fine.
What do people expect theres only so much you can do with word logos.
I think you can do a bit more, but I think people are more just disappointed that there is no team name.

Lame design for a lame team, they don't even try to do something good...Minnesota had nice jersey with just state name, but this is just lame. Not worth 8 min video.
