Great summary. You're a great narrator to listen to. I found this whole King in Black, God Carnage era of Venom to be one of the weaker storylines, convoluted and full of too many strange ideas. It's like they don't know what to do with the characters. How many times have we seen Carnage or Cletus killed? How many iterations of Venom do we need? Is more better? In this storyline, for Eddie Brock's primary enemy and antithesis, why do we need Flash Thompson taking him on? If we look at the storytelling back in the Lethal Protector era when Venom's storylines were more simplistic but had more depth, it felt like he was handled better. It's like knowing when to use silence in music - sometimes less is more, and overdoing it robs it of gravitas. Otherwise we stop caring for characters and situations that we know are more for temporary show than for meaning. Just my thought though. I feel like the next storyline will be as equally unsatisfying. Nothing on your storytelling and presentation though, which is excellent. So, looking forward to what they manage to produce.
My God, thank you 🎉. My favorite story so far from marvel since they've been hanging themselves these last few years. Ironic that Venom is saving marvel comics rn. This story is one that would be greatly enhanced as a full story or binge read. A couple sections can get weird when they release the same books and not sure which to follow sometimes.

Why are Eddie & Dylan going to fight one another??? It wasn’t explained on this video and I stopped following Venom around issues 25-28
