- Multiple countries are condemning Israeli forces for firing at Palestinians awaiting delivery of aid in Gaza Thursday. The Israel Defense Forces say many people were killed because they were trampled in a chaotic crush for the aid, and that its troops only fired when they felt endangered by the crowd. But Palestinian health officials say the majority of the deaths were from gunshot wounds. CBS News' Imtiaz Tyab is following the calls for an independent investigation.

The truck drivers feared for their lives. There were people on every part of the truck. This is tragic, and it’s important to give them as much food as possible but it’s hard when the truck drivers shouldn’t have to worry about dy*ng. I hope they can find a way to deliver food in a way that there aren’t stampedes, isn’t a su*cide missions for the deliverers, and Hms won’t just steal it like they have in the past. Truly sad.

This is what happens when you storm a military convoy and try to lynch the IDF soldiers from the tanks, what does anyone think would happen if they did it to an American or Russian convoy?
