I really like the more realistic builds. Great forging and such an even heat for heat treatment! Wow!
First you think: "Oh, it's just a knife, how interesting could that be?"
Then these guys put their hands on it and show you just how complex even 'just a knife' actually is. Well done :)
Forged in Fire is usually pretty good about showing of many many different designs of knives and how different smiths approach these designs.
Simple as it may be, this is actually a very beautiful good looking build
I love the realistic builds! They're always so satisfying in the demos
One of the things I love about Reforged over Man At Arms (with Tony) is that they don't just cut the weapon out of a metal of metal, grind it it and heat treat it.
Also is Tanner new cause I haven't seen him in any videos in the past.
That's a wicked blade! Great job Matt.
you guys should make Gandalf's sword
Crocodile Dundee had a bigger one 😜
Lovely piece of art lads! *Divine Axe Rhitta* next please!
How much you wanna bet this is soooo much better crafted than the original one in the show XD These guys are the best
Blue Exorcist's Kurikara Katana!
Really cool to see Matt doing some smithing! Love the content guys, it's always interesting to see what you're making. Thanks for the countless hours of entertainment and smithing lessons!

This style is the favorite David's knife ever!
You know...David Bowie.

biggybtoussaint thanx i too want to see that
they haven't found the right cosplayer yet
I watched the movie and all i could think about where how good the swords where. they have so much detail.
Alex Shapcott you’re right!! Some much beautiful detailing on that sword
maybe they dont know the answer to the riddle of steel
I have been wanting to buy this knife since the show aired for the first time. Can't believe I still didn't find a commercial manufacturer doing it!
I would love to see the reverse blade from Rurouni Kenshin!
That's just a scythe sword
The style of sword is called a sakibato my spelling is atrocious but the sword is still a good one.
You guys should do the sword Riptide as described in the Percy Jackson books
The.Inferno backbiter would be better.
Gear Head how about both ?
Including the "turns into the pen" mechanism. Just get Ilya to engrave some magic runes. He can do anything.
Slayer Of Kings, Gitsnik, The Destroyer, Sunfang, Revered Spear of Tlanxla or the Sword of Khaine. Make something from Warhammer fantasy battle
Apophis Ghal Maraz or one of the Runefangs.
id like to see the Revered Spear of Tlanxla or Gitsnik mostly
Jim Bowie would be proud. You did it so well!
Escanor's Divine Axe Rhitta from Nanatsu no Taizai pls
Esconer divine Axe
Divine Axe Rhitta, but you will need someone to hold it in one hand ;)
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun playing with a very practical knife. I love it.
Maximus' gladius from Gladiator
John Galvin ooo I second that
But it is just a standard Gladius...
@@uniporndev8390The one he uses at the start of the first battle which gets stuck in the tree
John Galvin ah I see.

Escanors’s divine axe?
ESCANORS DIVINE AXE RHITTA!!!! pls......😂
Escanor's divine axe rhitta
Please..😊
That would be cool to see, but also highly unrealistic. It's a massive axe that would take an incredibly strong person to lift it using both hands, and it's on a decidedly one-handed handle. It would end up being like the Caoseater build, where they do it more as a favor to the fans than as something they actually want to do.
But at least they did it, man. Besides, they can tweak it a bit, they don't have to be completely true to the source material. I've always wondered why they stopped doing their hybrid builds anyway, like the Wolverine Batclaw.
I went from the video where you made Chaoseater to this one and thought that this would be too easy and not very interesting to make or to watch, but seeing how excited Matt got at making a weapon he has been thinking about for a year or so, seeing how the simplicity of the build allowed more focus on smaller details, and just seeing a blade that can be handled with one hand instead of needing two or three guys to help you, this was a lot of fun and i learned a lot. Thanks guys, this is a fantastic series :)
Ashandarei Matrim Cauthon's Polearm
Kung Lao hat!!
MRicardo second that!
I see you're a man of taste as well
I've seen lots of weapons forge never seen a weapon that is a hat kung lao's hat.
Yes!!!
DIVINE AXE *RITHA*
This is one of my favorite videos. Thanks guys!
Escanor's axe, Rhitta (from nanatsu no taizai)
It will be a masterpiece! ! !
Escanor axe rhitta
This was all Matt but in the short time ilia was in it he did an absolutely amazing job
It's Soo cool to see you guys make this weapon knowing my ancestors (Wells & Cuny) were the reason for the popularity of the Bowie knife during the Sandbar fight in Louisiana in 1827...Great job guys.
*The Infinity Blade*
Rhitta from Escanor (seven sins)
i really don't care much about escanor but i want to see that axe

I would love you guys to make Glamdring, the Foe Hammer!

Esconar rittha axe
Knife and tomahawk from last Mohican
Belonging to which character though??
Matt Stagmer that’s why you guys should build it! Would be epic
Also the gun stock war club.
they did a very similar tomahawk build in a Matt vs Illiya tomahawk challenge.
I would do Magua's tomahawk and knife. Daniel Winkler did the originals for the movie and they are really unique designs especially the tomahawk.
Heh, Ilya's wearing one of Boris' WESLAV hoodies.
Xanatos712 gotta support the fellow comrade Slavs
Escanor's battle axe Rhitta
please do the divne treasure axe rhita of escanor from #nanatsunotaizai!!!!!please
What if you just make the best sword that you possibly can?
LilBobber
I would have to say that was Ilya's Excalibur ... that sword was on a whole other level ...
If they make it a contest that would be pretty cool
Such a subjective thing though.....you know? Kitana or straight edge? Damascus or no? Combat or collectible? So many variables and choices
There’s no such thing as a “best” sword really it is all about what you want to get out of the blade. Well aside from just stupidly impractical stuff like the 40k chainsword.
I think my fave is still the Kill la Kill scissor blade. Doozy handle because anime... but making it out of scissors sounds so dumb but it came out so beautiful.
Bulvoxzz
Indeed, you are right ... as another TH-camr said, a sword is just 'a metal bar that cut things now, and used to kill people in the past ...
But as a modern collectable, yes, not all swords are the same ... that depends on cost; quality of fit & finish (i.e., how much effort the smith put into making it); and how well it handles in the hand. Generally a cheap sword, irrespective of type, that costs £700.'
That is why I chose the Excalibur from King of Avalon, that Ilya mostly made, as the finest made in the history /of only just this show/.
But if we take all historical swords that have been found by archeologists, there are quite few, including Egyptian, Viking, Roman, Norman, Persian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian etc, which are pretty amazing finds, and questionably finer than even that Excalibur ... but again, even they have there own individual strengths and weaknesses depending on how it was made, and whom made it ...
So you are right ... there is no singular 'greatest sword ever', as there are too many variables in its making ...
*pist ... word to a wiseman ... it is spelt katana ...
Amazingly done. im such a fan of classic bowie knifes and this is just awesome.
Make the ax of the escanor from nanatsu no taizai !
Escanor axe
Jordan Woods guess what they actually did it
Divine axe Rhitta from seven deadly sins next
Jr Lopez they already made a weapon from the show the seven deadly sins
Juan Tetzaguic what's your point? Theres more than one weapon in the show.
That is true, like the Gidion hammer used by that young giantess, who also possess the mark of the snake sin, envy.
Ryan Miles you mean Diane?
Aye, she be the one in the kinky orange suite. Mmmm, delicious.
One of the main reasons I love melee weapons is because “some have a simple design but just remember just because it looks simple it may be hiding a much deadlier weapon”
Please make King's spear from The Seven Deadly Sins.
Divine Axe Rhitta of Lion Sin of Pride Escanor-sama from Seven Deadly Sins!
Last time I was this early, Westworld was a movie
LOL
LOL
SoupFork LOL
LOL
Yeah, I feel so old
hi Kerry n Matt, great show u guys have here, how bout making one of Zoro's katana from One Piece anime, thanks, u guys rock!
Saber Iris from Witcher 3
The Witcher has some realyl lovely designs and pays a lot of attention to details. Still, Iris is a bit clunky for a real-life sabre, but way better than most anime or fantasy blades...
Please! Do the Green Ranger's Dragon Dagger. But let it work like a real flute!
deinonychusaw Can't believe it hasn't been done yet.
@@guillermojrboy3292 me neither
What about Green Ranger's Sword of Darkness?
make them BOTH
Matt's doing the forging? Feels... weird.
Because it's a easy blade
Blutige Tränen maybe Ilya's on forged in fire again!
Agreed! Had to re watch the beginning to see if I saw him on opening intro.
We just need to see ilya grind a blade now like a parallel reality. Where matt forges a blade and ilya grinds the blade
Wait... ILYA WAS IN FORGED IN FIRE?! What episode was it??? I need to know!
I'd so die to see you made the sword on the cover of Queen of Shadow !! (from Sarah J. Maas)
Escanor axe Rhitta
Hey guys, could you do the *Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown* from the anime / light novel / manga *"Overlord"?*
omg yess!!! ^
Rhita escanor (nanatsu taizai)
I'd love to see Ferid Bathory's sword from Seraph of the End!

MakoRuu I've been asking for that build from dat one
Nanatsu no taizai, Escanor The Divine Axe Rhitta
Sarkis idk if you sub to me I’ll sub to you
Sarkis idk
YEAH!
lol
Now that is a thing of beauty.
Escanor's Divine Axe Rhitta from Nanatsu no Taizai c:
Neka I’ve been checking every day
I thought they've made that one already. Is it the one with the dude that has a moustache? the one with the angel on it and spikes? If so, they have definitely made that one already.
10:15 "Blood for the blood God"
I think that they should make a sword based off of a sprite from Terraria.
Slicing through the coconuts is what impresses me. This isn't a weapon with a ton of weight like the oversized video game swords, and it just goes right through.
I would love to see the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Red Ranger's Power Sword or White Ranger's Saba
Drizzt's Scimitars please!
only if they go by the books descriptions of them and not the officially licensed replicas (they look nothing like how they are described in the books)
I've asking for these for years :-(
Hell yes.... For the love of all that is holy.. Please build those.
Oh Hell Yes!
Hell ya, I love blades that are practical drizzts scimitars are actually functional design wise..
loved the old guy at the end!
For honor build challenge??????? Like how you did with the walking dead??????
Can you do meta knight’s sword next?
Make utrid’s seax knife from the last kingdom
Beautiful Bowie!

Please do the weapon of the main villain in the movie King Arthur legend of the sword!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Drizzt do'urdens scimitars!!!!......plz

Divine axe Rhitta, the Escanor's axe in Sevens deadly sins
