The fact sonics vocals are violins which are cheerful and quick while EXE are cellos which are deep and foreboding makes this flip back and forth really dynamoc
The more I hear Sonic/.EXE related orchestral covers, I can’t help but remember how many bangers there were among official and fan made content.
Though that being said, I’d love to hear Final Escape, Prey, Fight or Flight, or heck, even Substantial in an orchestral cover. And if we’re taking a break off of FNF, I’d love to hear a Big Arms theme from Sonic Generations cover orchestrated by you. I’d bet they’d all sound so hype if covered by you. 😊
I wonder how many people know that Confronting Yourself is not a FNF Vs. Sonic.EXE track, but that it comes from the Differentopic Undertale AU

Damn, imagine they put together an official Sonic recap/homage/tribute Orchestra live performance, and then just for the sake of it and for a huge appreciation of a piece of the community, they legit have the final song be Hill Act 1 or Confronting Yourself as an official soundtrack.
They play an orchestral Version of the drowning theme and on the Big Screen in the Background it Shows Sonic drowning in Labyrinth Zone and for a few short Moments it switches over to .EXE chasing Tails
