I was in this Airport in August/September 2011... I saw many airports in my life but this is... terrific! Big, very modern, fantastics shops, a useful underground, ... And I cannot to forget a beautiful girl at the Lufthansa check-in for her kindness and liking... Thank you very much and a big kiss ! ! !
@MicknFumi Thanks for that compliment. Saunas here are like Japanese Onsens (and Korea has hot springs too). The entire Jjimjilbang (찜질방) experience is awesome. Men/Women separate and enjoy a great sauna (bath house) experience. Then get back together in uniforms for the dry, heated rooms. We usually go for a whole day. It's wonderful!
You make that airport look like a fun place to go! Who would normally think of visiting an airport for entertainment, but it looks as though they have it all. The garden was calling to me........ So nice.
Excellent video and channel..in fact you have the best Korean information channel I've seen on youtube..So I subscribed..and you're from Arizona..I live in Scottsdale.
@GreenEggsAndHamster Thanks! I love the airport. The most surprising thing I saw when I got to the airport was a Dunkin' Donuts. I was not expecting to see one before I got through customs.
Yay,,, professional like a,, like a pro :) Awesome video Steve, i know you find the way to making more "official" videos. That zen garden will be my relaxing place when I land at Incheon some day.
I have to agree that ICN is a great place. I'm from Philly, and while I have pride for my city, their airport drives me nuts when it comes to service! ICN has great service...they were so helpful!
@bodingoji Thank you for your comment. Not really a commercial, but it was sponsored by Korea.Net. However, I was in total control of all content and it does reflect my real opinion of the airport and its services.
@aroundjapan I hope to make it to Japan this year. It should be a great trip. I remember traveling through DFW when I was a kid. IIA is not pretty close with teh new AREX. 45 minutes to Seoul!
@UnderCoverChris007 It's an amazing place. One of the reasons I love traveling so much is that many of the greatest finds are along the journey to the destination.
I had been to several international airports such as Changi, Narita, Taiwan Taoyuan, Kuala Lumpur, Sheremetyevo (Moscow), but Incheon international airport is the best, I had just been there on August 2011 and I registered for Seoul Transit Tour, I and my friend had had great time on the tour and we really enjoyed it. I recommend transit passengers to register for the tour, you will have a great experience.
No celebs on my visit. It takes 1 hour to get to Seoul from the airport, so you might be able to do something around the airport, but I'm not sure I'd want to risk missing my flight.
@LeeClaxton Have you not heard of Lotte World and Everland/Caribbean Bay?? Those are great theme parks... And Seoul is full of history tours, try going to Insadong, there is a lot of historical things there!
@phampants It's an amazing place to travel through, John. You'll see it up close and personal when you're here! ;-) Thanks for the comment on the shirt. I love it!
On the trip back from BKK-SEA with 12 hours lay over (12June 2011) I decided to explore every corner, shopping stores, food vendors in this airport instead of taking free city tour as I used to. I liked 95% of what ICN terminal offered to transist passengers, but watch out for the price of shower kits. Asiana airline lounge offer 50% off for transist passengers(buffet, bars, internet access) $84USD for 4 hours spending inside airline lounge. Without 50% off you figure the sum.
In Dec 10, I took Hanna free city tour for inbound flights BKK-ICN-SEA. But I don't like to go through security check point again when I just got off from Trans Pacific flight on outbound SEA-ICN-BKK within 50 minutes transfer frm one terminal to another. I literally run like hell to get to a long line security check point in ICN to make to the gate on time. Transfer passenger should skip the security check. My next trip in May 11, I'll drop a letter to airport manager about this issue
@jcarey1983 It's getting better, but no where like it should be. Subways and some buses are accessible, but most restaurants aren't. Many attractions now make provisions for wheelchairs, but there's a long way to go.
Nice video again. I have been to Incheon airport, too. There are many Russian tourists changing airplanes. Nice airport, but far from town, not much to say about food. My favorites are Nagoya airport and HK airport.
Hello, there^^ I enjoyed your video about Incheon International airport. I just want to add some train information on it. In case of airport railroad, there're 2 types of trains. One is all stop train and another one is express train. Express train has deposit system for a ticket. So it costs 8,500 won including 5,00 won deposit. Moreover, if you want to purchase more than 3 people, you can get a group discount as well. Have a great day^^
I'm hoping to leave my backpack at ICN because of 14 hour layover. Arrive at 8:50pm and leave at 11am next morning in Dec 2013. Would like to explore downtown Seoul, will bring just a fanny pack, won, and camera with me into town. Hopefully bus to Lotte Hotel is easy to find. :)
I'll be going to South Korea this summer and I have a 3-4 hour layover. Do you think that's enough time to look around and actually do something? Also, did you see any Korean celebrities at the airport?
Hey Steve, i went through Incheon early December for a Manila-Seoul round-trip flight, on my way to Daejeon. We really didn't have a lot of time to lounge about both ways, but arriving we were entertained to a boyband foursome doing Psy's "Gangnam Style" at the stage. Yep, you heard that right. If I had more time to spare I'd definitely like to go around the airport. :)
I was in this Airport in August/September 2011... I saw many airports in my life but this is... terrific! Big, very modern, fantastics shops, a useful underground, ... I am so glad that what I saw you doing has actually come to fruition! You have the look the voice and the ability to be announcer guy!
Yes, Incheon is awesome! It was obviously the first place I saw in Korea and I was blown away by how nice a modern it is. Great video!
@MageThief Thanks for all the support, mate! I love making videos and spreading the word about the fun things here in Korea.
@ajussiwannabe Yes, lots of light! Thanks so much for watching!

You make that airport look like a fun place to go! Who would normally think of visiting an airport for entertainment, but it looks as though they have it all. The garden was calling to me........ So nice.
I was just at the airport yesterday and thanks to your vdeo, I got to check out all the cool things there. Thanks again.
Wow! this airport really does look awesome. So gonna check that out sometime this year!
Excellent video and channel..in fact you have the best Korean information channel I've seen on youtube..So I subscribed..and you're from Arizona..I live in Scottsdale.

@thechoos That is true. But hopefully you'll be able to make it out here for a bit! Would love to show you around!

@KazukiSeirei ;-) I can only imagine! Hope you two make it out here soon!
@aroundjapan I hope to make it to Japan this year. It should be a great trip. I remember traveling through DFW when I was a kid. IIA is not pretty close with teh new AREX. 45 minutes to Seoul!
You are so talented at doing travel videos, I could see you as a travel TV reporter. Tam : )
@UnderCoverChris007 It's an amazing place. One of the reasons I love traveling so much is that many of the greatest finds are along the journey to the destination.
very informative....best thing is the Transit tour, I guess!! Never heard of such a thing before!!!! Thank's!
Thanks!
@violinistslythie7 Awesome! Yeah, you'll have to partake in some of these features. They're great!
@TubaBuddha Thank you my friend! I really appreciate that!

Wow!!! They have a zen garden, spa, and a tour seoul thing!!! :o so cool!!!
I love Incheon! I can't wait to visit again :)
@YounghunKang Thanks for both!
When I was here in 2003, on a stop-over to Japan, I found it very convenient.
@Ido013 You'd totally enjoy it! The spa is awesome!
@chrismecking Yeah, they have it all. You can even arrange a trip to the DMZ!
@TheFaustianMan There are several 24 hour joints. Plenty of time to get some food!
Great tour! Who knew Incheon had all that cool stuff?
@tdcmoncton This is the Canon HFS11 with the Zoom H2 and a Radioshack mic.
No celebs on my visit. It takes 1 hour to get to Seoul from the airport, so you might be able to do something around the airport, but I'm not sure I'd want to risk missing my flight.
I really like the waiting area in the concourse. Lots of room and bright compared to many of the airports in the U.S.
i was there in the winter of 2012 but couldnt really see the place. thanks for the video
Amazing airport Steve, and excellent tour guide too. Doug =)
@dasagu When we were filming, Spa Air was W20,000 per person for 24 hours.
@cmb17 Thank you very much for watching!
@SpZwrden That I am! Thanks for watching!
@LeeClaxton Have you not heard of Lotte World and Everland/Caribbean Bay?? Those are great theme parks... And Seoul is full of history tours, try going to Insadong, there is a lot of historical things there!

@reynoldsair Thank you sir! Loving your Tokyo recaps!

I enjoyed your video about Incheon International airport.

Where do you get your shirts? There are several shirts that I found really cool in your videos.
I'll be going to South Korea this summer and I have a 3-4 hour layover. Do you think that's enough time to look around and actually do something? Also, did you see any Korean celebrities at the airport?

@shinjohitsugaya It's a great place. I like going a little early so I have more time to play around!
@FRUNTCASTER What kind of Coffee? Is it Costco Colombian? That's what I'm drinking right now!
Wow.... Its like a mini world in there!
@jacktchance It's awesome and currently rated number one; however, Incheon was rated number one from 2005-2009, five consecutive years.
Damn that's a mighty fine airport.
@LeeClaxton Actually, Soul is full of history and theme parks.

Amazing airport... How can you advertise within Incheon?
Fabulous airport, Steve! I originally read it as "luncheon." I must be Hungary :)
What mic are you using and camera, Steve?
Hey Steve, i went through Incheon early December for a Manila-Seoul round-trip flight, on my way to Daejeon. We really didn't have a lot of time to lounge about both ways, but arriving we were entertained to a boyband foursome doing Psy's "Gangnam Style" at the stage. Yep, you heard that right. If I had more time to spare I'd definitely like to go around the airport. :)
@thizizliz The garden is great. I love it at night!
It drives Japan crazy that Incheon is always drawing so many flyers away from Narita and Kansai International. Now I know why it does.
