What would we (I) do without thickened epoxy, a couple licks of paint and good as new :-)) don’t know US prices but here a door like the one you repaired will take about € 900 out of the pocket. Really great how you repair things, cheers Albert 🇳🇱
Thanks Albert! Epoxy is my friend. The interior of our home has all old doors, we like the style. At the time an attractive old door cost more or less what a new door cost. But the new door would come pre hung in a jamb. The old ones not so. Mr Barry got to make lots of door jams.
The door came out looking good. I liked your idea about the wooden blocks to square the door back up, I'm glad the winds stayed light for you.
Thanks Robin!
We got lucky with the storm. Two more months of hurricane season, fingers crossed.
Nice little project, glad the hurricane didn't do its thing and everything went well. Looking forward for the next project captain!
Thanks chugaaa, good to hear from you. The hurricane spared BR but lots of flooding east of us. We got lucky.

I would call it a stile extension.
Done! They are officially stile extensions.
