- Okay, cards on the table guys.
There are actually 7 reasons that your Monstera deliciosa is droopy:
1. Not enough light
2. It needs more water (whether that means watering it more frequently or making the soil more water-retentive/less hydrophobic)
3. It needs higher humidity (I don't know why this is number 3. It should be number 7)
4. Pests. Probs thrips. My nemesis, which is weird because I let hundreds live in my house
5. Root rot/issues
6. Transplant shock
These points are what I discussed in the videos, but I completely forgot to discuss that temperature (i.e. getting too cold) can result in a droopy Monstera.
Anyway, we live and learn.

You are so right! I had a Dying Monstera Indoors, and decided to move it outdoors in East Sun, and she took a while to adapt but right now is doing great! I have another one that I got with water roots and I transferred to soil. The leaves are kind of droopy so I think I am going to move her outdoor too.
Good light is like a cheat code 😂
It was helpful! My Monstera aren’t really droopy, but they are growing out sideways more. It’s stems are very sturdy and there’s no way I can force them onto a pole. Maybe I’ll wait until Spring and give them a cup and prop! But I’m always afraid to do that!
They have a tendency to grow however they want 😂 mine used to grow sideways, so I just repotted the root ball on an angle with the new growth point pointing up - it worked! Try air layering if you’re worried about chop/prop, though monstera are super happy to root - they’re one of the few plants I root in soil
