Great stuff! I could have used this for mine that I figured out myself for a ford f-150. It is very similar- but not exactly the same as this! The spring was just unset!
Video on utube at 2:12 showing glove box latch repair is very informative, is this the basics of any glove box latch. The one on the video is a little different from mine, a 2004 Buick regal? The door doesn't catch so I have duct tape holding it shut which is so ugly.

How do you fix it if it’s a sprung. On the left-hand side, it stays open and the light stays on please answer.
Does this work for ACURa TL 2004?
Mine will not open all the way stuck!
