These same guys are so many in the CBD nowadays harassing motor bike guys. You can't even tell whether they're thieves or genuine authority. The police should intervene quickly!

Show this video to the police and various media houses. Whether or not they are city council askaris they failed to identify themselves and that was harassment the way they surrounded you like that. Also no one has the right to get into your bike and drive off with it, that's THEFT!

I support this! Send this video to CitizenTV. The law should be 1. they identify themselves, 2, they tell you what mistake you have committed and 3 they give you a chance for bail. those are thugs calling themselves afande.

A group of such people ever stopped me Thika Rd pale ngara. Kwanza they claimed they were DCI in a Subaru Forester, even had a walkie talkie that they used to stop me in a busy moving highway through their window. Had identification tags that seemed legit too. Did a similar procedure kupiga piga picha the usuals, Id, license, etc eti wanaruka to DCI headquarters. Wakasema as we wait for results from the office, tutoke kwa highway tutegee na hapa nyuma Pangani. my spirit hinted nko karibu kua car jacked. Nikaaaambia juu wao ni DCI na vile tu wamenipata leo, watume tu formal charge for court I will appear later kwa DCI mwenyewe juu siwezi wahepa they can trace me tu bado. I fled the scene with a scared adrenaline rush, a very worried Kenyan. Kaeni rada Kanairo.

These incidents are so common. Kenya has this culture of uniformless police, including DCI. It makes it super easy for thugs to impersonate them. Every law enforcement officer including the so-called "Kanjos" need to have a uniform complete with badges

I didn't have a bike but i had a similar experience. When i was crossing uhuru highway there were apparent "NCC" guys (plain clothed) wakushika watu where you cross without a zebra crossing (mind you there is only one apo uhuru park🙄...i can't even with that).
They came like 7 of them and i agreed my mistake and was willing to go to Cityhall, as we were walking there they kept budgering me, trying to slow me down and when i continued walking (to the agreed destination) they're like, "madam unataka kutoroka"
Not that i didn't have things to do but i was determined i wasn't giving them a single cent. They kept talking, venye tulifika gate ya city hall they start being polite, they thought i would give them money and were shocked how strict and stubborn i was, i even dared them we go in kama tumetembea hiyo njia yote.
Even cops who shika me with my car, i don't fold into bride and i tell them i'm a lady alone, i can't take a strange man who i'm not sure of in my car, tufuatane tupatane mbele and most of them look at me like i'm not ok and let me go.
This so called law enforcement people are just hooligans with D- grades and drunk on power or thugs impersonating them, you are your only protection, but sorry about the incident they are also life lessons, pole

No they don't work together, you don't understand. Kanjo huwa wanajialocate spaces hapo CBD so watu wa nduthi wenye wanaingia tao lazima uwachotee kitu then hawakushiki. so utaona wanakimbilia tu zile foreign bikes. Hata venye huyu jamaa ameshikwa anabonga, I can tell yeye ni mgeni wa tao. Kuingia tao na bike hutaka msee anajua penye anaenda sio mtu anaenda akiulizia directions, and your first brake should be the parking ya building yenye unaenda so that msisumbuane na kanjo. Kuna parking fees na license ambazo bikes zinafaa ziwe nazo na akijua huna they take advantage.
