WOW, reminds of a couple of women I knew in collage. They went to a club, passed out woke up the next morning, and found out they were "expecting" a few weeks later! Sorry, couldn't resist the joke!
I know there's a market for this sort of stuff, and as long as they aren't mistreating the animals I really couldn't care less but personally, this kind of stuff just...disturbs me as a hunter. I grew up hunting private land, completely free roaming PRESSURED deer. We don't use bait, or artificial attractants. We don't do any kind of genetic modifying process. We hunt them wild and as they are. The most we do is we've established some food plots using organic stuff, we aren't buying the latest and greatest "BIG BUCK MAXIMA EXTREME BLEND" from A B or C hunting company. We don't use anything that's been altered for genetics purposes. All we want to do is give deer a reason to keep coming back to our property, and give them an area to survive and thrive, even in the harsh northeast winter months. I try not to judge. There is a market for this, and as long as it's a humane process I don't generally get too bothered by it. I'm just not too overly thrilled with this kind of stuff, but once in a while I'll see a video like this pop up and I'll give it a watch just for interests sake. I don't like messing with nature, I guess I'm just old school in that way. To me it diminishes the sport, and takes away some of the prestige. Just a sentimental thing I guess. I'm not trying to be that guy who disparages someone for doing something different. I'm just intrigued at how people do things differently than me. My Mathews and my rifle already give me enough of an advantage, I don't need any more lol.
Great video. Lots of good information. We have a 106 acre property we are going to make into our dream farm. It's in Winnsboro SC. Do you know any deer farmers in SC I could visit?
